The high reviews were misleading.
Healthy food can taste good but this neither feels particularly healthy and certainly not good.

This is probably the blandest food I’ve ever had.
Everything was unseasoned.
The most flavorful part were the beans - which were likely from a can.
It’s very hard to justify all of that at a price tag of about 50$ for 2 people.

It seems like there might have been an ownership change at some point.
I truly hope the new owners can turn it around but I’m disappointed I didn’t stop somewhere else in Santa Fe during my stop.

Amazing restaurant and service! I have come here over 10 times now and have never been disappointed. It gets crowded, especially on weekends (but well worth the wait and the noise). The food is fresh, tasty, and there are tons of healthy options. Try the chocolate mouse pie!

This is my absolute favorite place in Santa Fe! I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and every time I go to Santa Fe I eat at Sweetwater harvest kitchen you pretty much cannot go wrong with any of their dishes! Their food is flavorful and clean and nourishing. I can't say enough good about this place. And I love supporting local women owned businesses!

During a recent visit to Santa Fe, I had breakfast three times in this place and absolutely love it!!! It is such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. And the prices are reasonable. Carmen thank you for your kindness!! I highly recommend the gluten-free/vegan pumpkin pancakes and the kimchi fried rice!!! I would love to have a place like this were I live. I would go every day.

Sweetwater is one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. The food is usually really good and a fair value. Today I called in a Caesar salad with chicken to go. $21.64. I was handed a box that was not very big, and i asked if there was chicken in it. Yes I was told. The box was half full when we opened it. It is curious to me when restaurants down size to go orders. Do they figure by the time you get home, it’s too late to do anything about it? The croutons were just a piece of bread cut up. We will come back and eat in the restaurant, but I wont be getting to go from here ever again.

We loved every dish — bison burger, veggie burger, pumpkin pancakes, turkey tortilla soup, side salads. My 3yo did as well! Friendly service. Excellent iced tea.

Being vegetarian we ordered the chickpea butternut squash bowl and the vegan burger. The former was bland but palatable whereas the burger had no taste whatsoever though it was promised that it would be appropriately spiced. It was served with a side salad that was a bunch of spinach and the Dijon vinaigrette which was too sweet and oily. The only way to eat this was to squeeze lemon and pepper over the salad and dip the burger in siracha sauce. The side salad just made it seem like vegetarians are cows. It was not quite the experience expected for foods priced pretty high. I did wat it after all the adjustments I made considering it's priced at $18. The Baked potato soup was good and worth it. There are no kids friendly menus (though Google says there is) and while that is ok in specialty food places like these there should be some comfort foods for kids..I don't think I will be going back here but I should mention that my other half was ok with his chickpea curry.

I don't know if the restaurant prefers certain types of guests; it definitely gave me the impression when we visited. For at least 5 minutes we were the only party waiting for a table, and nobody greeted us or acknowledged us in any way. And it's not as if they didn't see us--we were already there when the host came to usher in the party before us; and at least one server made eye contact with me when she passed by later. After a while, a few ladies came in. Within seconds the host told them she would be with them in a minute. Indeed, she's back soon and started to check in the ladies who came after us, while ignoring me as if I were an invisible ghost. The other guests were very nice and pointed out that we were there first. It turned out there would be a 25-minute wait. We could have waited, but we left. Not a pleasant day.

It was our last day in Santa Fe . We were looking for a meal that didn't have the traditional chile theme. I found Sweetwater Harvest Kitchen which is off the beaten path. I'm sure this place is a local favorite.
My wife had the Pumpkin Quinoa Veggie Burger .
Housemade patty w/pumpkin, quinoa + chickpeas topped w/avocado + jalepeno red cabbage slaw; served w/side spinach salad w/red onion, red bell pepper, tomato + pepitas w/ Dijon vinaigrette. The texture was on the soft side but the taste was good. The red cabbage was a welcomed addition.
I had the Hunter’s Chicken. Organic Roasted Chicken w/mushroom shallot sauce; served w/sautéed kale + roasted potatoes. Both my wife's plate and my plate were loaded. My Chicken was excellent. the mushroom sauce made the dish.
The service was friendly and very fast. I was surprised our food came out quickly.
Would definitely come back if we make it back to Santa Fe.

Disappointed in the food. Ordered the Paleo Burrito- the server didn't even asked if we wanted sausage or bacon. Serviced seemed rush and harried. The sweet potato in the burrito with the burrito itself drenched in the red sauce was a mis match of flavors. I did like the spinach tortilla, but for two subpar burritos with a bill of $33+, will pass next time.

Misled again by Google reviews. Cannot recommend this place.

The food was okay. Not terribly flavorful. I got the vegan smothered burrito and it wasn't mixed well. All the black beans, which were the best part, were all at one end. If I had known, I would have torn it all apart and mixed it well. The worst part was that I ended up getting sick and throwing up from it. Won't be going back.
