I have been going to restaurants in Santa Fe for many years and I have to say this week had one of the best meals ever at Terra Cotta. The food was outstanding. We had the octopus as an appetizer and it was THE best I have ever had-octopus with humus and sausage - amazing flavors. For entrees I had the scallops which were served with a lobster tail and were absolutely amazing. My wife had the tuna which was cooked to perfection. We finished with a wonderful tiramisu dessert. The service was great and we had a great Italian wine that was reasonably priced. It has a cozy atmosphere where you can actually carry on a conversation with your guests. Terra Cotta is a hidden gem in Santa Fe and should not be missed.

We discovered the restaurant while walking to the O'Keefe Museum and decided to try it for dinner. We were very pleased with the food and the service. The duck was terrific and perfectly cooked. For dessert, they substituted a mango sorbet for the strawberry. It was fantastic and should be on the menu as well! The presentations of both courses were beautiful.
The waiter was very cordial and service was great.
We highly recommend it!

Service was a little off. I didn't get the salad that I had ordered but I took the salad that was delivered because it looked good and it was good. Drinks took a very very very long time to come out. My dining companion ordered a second cocktail and never got it. It took a very long time to get waited on, once we were seated. The bus person who was just filling in and had never done it before he was excellent our Waters were always full and our dirty dishes were always cleared.

All was great. The dining area is comfortable, our server was charming, knowledgeable and attentive and the 4 meals were excellent. Exactly what we hoped for and expected. Well done!

Very relaxing place with great food. Live solo guitarist during our visit. The scallops were perfect and the chicken was amazing. Will be back next time in Santa Fe.

I had the Lamb Tajine, it took me an hour to finish because it was large and very tasty. The noise level was low . Everyone liked their meal

Absolutely delicious. Very nice restaurant. Quiet. Great staff. The lamb tagine was amazing. Huge portion too. But more than that, the flavors were incredible. Spot on and the lamb so tender and tasty.

Wow... One of the best meals we have had in a city full of great restaurants! The Pork Tomahawk was stunning as was the Canard. Also the Kiwi sorbet was excellent. Great atmosphere, great service and just a great place!
This is one of our favorite restaurants because it's quiet and cozy. Last night it seemed a little off as service was less attentive and some special requests ( martini on the rocks, tuna medium rare) were overlooked.

I purchased a bottle of Pinot Noir. $110 bottle. Waiter presented the wine. When I asked if he would decant it, he took the bottle and came back with a half carafe, not a decanter, of wine and not the bottle. I don't think I got the whole bottle in that small carafe. I asked the waiter to bring the bottle back and he did. Better etiquette to leave the bottle and decant at the table. The waiter was nice, however.

We had a wonderful evening at the Terracotta Wine Bistro - from the friendly, knowledgable staff, to the delicious, beautifully presented courses, we cannot say enough about the evening. We will definitely return again.
