Massive decline in both service and food quality. Like many reviews mention, the staff are incredibly rude and condescending.

We asked a friend of ours who lives in the area for a recommendation for a restaurant. She stated there was one that the locals know about, it’s a bit out of town, but it is awesome. That is exactly what we were looking for. It was well worth the drive. As we pulled up, just after lunch it looked like a hippie 60’s hangout. It was delightful! When we walked in there was an outdoor patio, an indoor area with large windows that open and further indoors a well-appointed bar within a market. Incredible! We had a large group with children so we couldn’t sit at the bar, but the adults made a pact to return to enjoy the bar. They had a wood burning oven for their pizzas, but they offer pizzas after 5 pm. Darn. That would be another reason for our return. One of the servers as we walked let us decide where to sit. Which was kind considering our large group and little ones. Two of us ordered a margarita-they were to die for. They were made perfectly! We ordered chips and salsa to get started; they were delicious and……. OH, so good. Our group ordered fish tacos and chicken taco truck tacos that’s it, yup odd- no one had a taste for anything else. The fish was cooked perfectly- moist, flaky and hot. The chicken tacos were flavored well, moist and hot. They were both stellar. Our whole group LOVED the side dish of pinto beans -they were yummy and healthy. The 3-year toddler requested a cheese quesadillas and boy was it cheesy. He finished the plate and enjoyed it. No one tried the quesadillas, but he gave it , 2 thumbs up. We noted the desserts, they looked delicious, but we were so full we couldn’t even consider ordering them. That is another excellent reason to return! This restaurant was wonderful with delicious and out-of-this-world dishes. The wait staff were helpful, kind, and understanding and kept checking on us. This restaurant is a must try and try again. It gets a five star and two thumbs up.

The Holey Toast is delicious with a runny yolk and fresh breakfast potatoes. Went back a second time 🤠 and the eggs Benedict had a generous portion of thinly sliced ham below the poached eggs and it was so good. You can buy their green chile cheese bread to go! Awesome market with unique nooks and corners. Definitely walk through the market!

Arrive close to opening - this place fills up!

It's a cool place but not all the food is great. The taco truck tacos are definitely made by someone who has never had a taco truck taco. The salads are good. The tamales are good. Chips/salsa/queso is solid. Drinks are great. Pizza is thin crust.

This used to be an absolute GEM of a place to spend an evening in Santa Fe. The staff now comes across as privileged and distant. The food can be hit-or-miss, with some dishes still remaining consistent. What used to be what legitimately felt like a Village Market has obviously seized the opportunity to make as much as possible. Quite sad, but this is to be expected, I suppose.....

Consistently delicious! I love bringing friends and family here, it has such a welcoming vibe. If you wait for a table, you can go to the bar, look around at their wide selection of wine and imported goods, as well as art. The beef fajitas are my favorite, so tender and fresh. The Mac & cheese with bacon is the best I’ve ever had. All of the margaritas are good, but the passionfruit was incredible. So many baked goods to choose from, the green chile cheese bread & key lime pie are not worth leaving behind. Highly recommend.

Fun, lively place and drinks are good. However the tortilla soup was some type of puréed slop and not soup at all. If this is typical that’s a shame……::

As a native Texan, born and raised on the meaty traditions of Texas chili, I feel compelled to speak on what can only be described as a culinary bait-and-switch. When I saw “Texas Chili” on the menu, my excitement was palpable. But when the dish arrived, I was immediately stunned and offended by what was in front of me.

Beans. An avalanche of beans. Pinto, black, kidney, every legume known to man had seemingly found its way into this bowl. The bean-to-meat ratio was something like 10:1, which, in Texas, isn’t just wrong, it’s sacrilegious. Texas chili does not have beans. That’s not an opinion, that’s a fact.

Now, here’s the twist: the chili actually tasted amazing. The spice was spot-on, the flavor rich and layered, and if it had been listed as “Hearty Bean Chili” or just “Chili,” I’d be singing a completely different tune. I’d happily have given it 4 stars. But calling this “Texas Chili” is false advertising, plain and simple, if I had a lawyer then I’d sue.

So, respectfully, I give your chili 2 stars, one for the deliciousness, and one for the potential. But let me be clear, rename the dish, and this has the potential to be a 4+ star chili. Texas chili deserves respect. And beans deserve their own lane.

Do better by the name.

We stopped to shop for gifts and provisions here on our way to Taos. Incredible selection, including some special wines, whiskies, and other treats. Appreciate the local art/gifts. Can’t wait to come back and try the food.

A coffee shouldn’t come with an attitude. Needs a crash course in hospitality. At least the sugar was authentic.
