The Burger Stand -Santa Fe

Place is great for lunch. burgers and fries are amazing. The Morning Star is so flavorful and hefty. Overall this is a must visit destination especially if you like burgers.

we got the classic burger. it was the most forgettable burger. the ingredients individually seemed like quality ingredients (good beef, fresh lettuce tomato onions pickles) but very poorly executed and also was a total grease bomb. each bite i took made grease gush down my fingers to my wrist and drip everywhere. also they sliced the tomatoes and onions so thick that the overall burger was so thick, i needed to unhinge my jaw just to bite into it. would not come back and would not recommend. not sure why it has the good ratings it does. the parmesan truffle fries were super mid too.

Food was overpriced. The food came out to the table cold. It had a bar but no alcohol, guess they no longer have their license. To be right in a prime location in the Plaza this place is a huge disappointment and is lacking in quality of food and service.

Delicious green chili cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings, Santa Fe salad, lager, and porter. Fun dinner out on the patio. Street parking. Accessible. Staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. Thank you

Don't listen to the negative reviews, this place was hands down amazing service and food! The young man at the bar who takes the orders was quick, respectful, happy and has a great attitude. The food was hot, fresh, juicy (green Chile and Fire burger) and came out pretty quickly. And oh boy the margarita was made perfectly and he made it pretty quickly as well!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! Waited over an hour because they lost our order ticket, then when they finally gave our order several things were wrong, one order had the wrong side, no cheese when it was supposed to have cheese, and the burger HAD A HAIR IN IT!!!! We did get refunded for just that burger but honestly the whole experience was terrible we should have gotten all our money back.

Located in Burro Alley, a couple blocks from the Plaza, this place seems to be a bit less crowded than places closer to the plaza. Place was deserted on a weekday afternoon in September, and they have a nice little hidden courtyard outback to eat in for al fresco dining. Green Chile Burger was a good purists burger, great meat and cook but simple without some overpowering crazy sauce on it so you could really taste the meat and chiles. Fries were good including the duck fat fries (portion that comes with the burger is reasonable but not enough for a fry pig out.) Prices aren't a bargain but reasonable so close to the Plaza. Service was good although I can't comment what it would be like during a busy time.

We waited over 45 minutes after ordering before we went inside to check on our food. It was just sitting at the kitchen window. Someone then brought it out to us and it was all SO COLD. It was a total waste of $60!!

Update your hours online so that people do not waste their time driving to your restaurant at 8 p.m. thinking you close at 9 p.m. to learn upon arrival that you close at 8 p.m.

I don't know if there were major changes in management or ownership, but things have changed. Buns falling apart and overcooked food. The fries were different. I really want to like this place, but things have changed.
