Great stop. Menu had a great selection. Kids enjoyed breakfast and a cinnamon roll. I had great steak fajitas and my wife loved the breakfast burrito. Very clean, friendly and quick.
This was my first time going and I was impressed. The black bean burger was chewy, but not overly meaty (I'm not a fan of overly realistic veggie burgers) and well seasoned. Staff members were friendly and the right amount of attentive. I liked the atmosphere. We went after the lunch boom, so it was pretty quiet. I have heard that there can be a wait at other times, though.
I went on a weekend day which was probably a mistake. This little diner was packed to the brim. It is like a neighborhood diner yet they serve really good Mexican food for breakfast and lunch. Parking was decent, better than trying to park downtown. Service was quick but it was rushed feeling. I can't say that it really had an atmosphere, other than an old diner. People obviously go because the food is good.
