Pink Adobe is next to Inn of the Five Graces, one of the most expensive hotels in SF, so I assumed the meal would be exorbitant; surprisingly, the prices were quite reasonable. \nThe food was fantastic: best chile relleno I've ever had (add the carne asada!). Between the two of us we shared shrimp chevice, shishito peppers, a mushroom with blue corn appetizer, and pork stew... plus the chile relleno. A lot of food, all delicious. \nWe loved the atmosphere: cute little rooms...
We dined as a group and ordered drinks and entrees. Drinks came out one at a time and one was completely missed. We had to have our waiter reorder it, and it finally arrived. We did not have appetizers. Wine selection by the glass is very nice! We each ordered different entrees and they ranged from underdone salmon to enchiladas that were « good but different ». When we got the tab, everything was on one ticket. We asked for it to be split and the waiter rolled his eyes and...
Went here for dinner and it was just lovely. Say in front of the fireplace and had my dinner. Service was quick, staff was friendly and the focus was delicious! The quail was so good! The cream of mushroom soup very tasty! There is is so much to see here and the outside is just beautiful!
