All I can say is, wow. The food was phenomenal. My husband got the burrito and I got the chicken enchiladas with Christmas on the side (red chili sauce and green chili sauce), we shared the chips and salsa. And to our surprise, Sopapillas came with the meal. We’d never had a one before and they were life changing! Luckily we eat dinner early so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. When we left, the line was out the door. I could happily eat my way through the entire menu if we had more time. The staff was friendly and the food was fresh. I highly recommend Tomasita’s I’d you’re in Santa Fe.

Crowded early Sunday evening. A 25 min. wait for a 2 top, cut short as we found bar seats. My order got messed up, not sure if it was ordered wrong or the kitchen messed up. Chicken tacos had cheese, ruined part of 2 (of 3). I 'fixed it' losing some chicken. Usually you get too much food, anyway. They were fabulous. They should have had soft tortillas, but didn't ... impressive hard shells, held together with the best I've ever had. Can not be understated how ideal those hard shells were. If only more places had these, I'd have more.Decent portions of everything. My wife's Chili Relleno looked a bit flat and anemic. Not sure why, as it was substantial. A bar patron sold us on their chili. Bowl of chili offered w/ red and green (?christmas?) sauces. Both are hot, flavorful, and a joy. Should have come w/ house made soft tortillas, not sopapillas doygh pillows. The sopapillas are amazing!Def. try the honey butter. A perfect combo, nearly dessert. Went with the chicken, beef, beans and Xmas sauce bowl perfectly.Limited non-alcohol offerings, likely the lemonade all got drank up, as we arrived late. Cocktail skills were obvious. They have their own parking lot, but Santa Fe seems to go to sleep early, and the rush here was impressive. Glad we got bar seats.

It was really busy when we visited. We waited 40 minutes for a table. Chips were too thick for our taste, but some may like that. Queso was really good with just the right amount of heat. Hubby had tacos. He said the meat had a good flavor. I had the chili relleno. I was disappointed in the relleno because it was soggy with the pasole and beans. It was a huge potion for a "lighter" plate. Service was excellent with such a busy night.

This is one of those Restaurants we go to that should have a 5 star rating. Every time we visit Santa Fe, we have at least one meal here. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Super friendly staff, outstanding service.

I had a Chile Relleno Plate, Christmas style. It was pretty hot, but tasty. The Sopapilla was excellent. I got it to go, and it was ready on time. Service was friendly. If I could give 4.5 stars I would.

Tomasita's has been a must stop for our family whenever we visited Sante Fe since I was a child. And forty years later we still stop by never to be disappointed. Everything is great, but the chili rellenos are my personal favorite.

Food was good. If you're on your own, the bar decor/ambiance leaves something to be desired. Gotta have your sopapilla with honey and butter!
