The food was just okay. I was expecting more. My girlfriend had a good experience the first time when she visited Santa Fe before so she was excited to take me here. Now she also no longer likes it. The green chili beef stew tasted like normal generic beef stew from a can. It didn’t have much flavor, we were confused if we really got the right soup. My gf got the tamale, which she didn’t enjoy it. It was mushy and slimy due to the tamale being wrapped in banana leaf. I don’t think that is a good vessel to wrap the tamale in, especially since tamale should be more dry and firm. There was also not much depth of flavor. I got the mole enchilada. I was very surprised because it was the sweetest mole I have ever had. I usually have more savory, so I do wish the description would name which type of mole it was. And the bananas on the plate I thought it would be a starchy plantain but it was a very sweet banana. We did enjoy the beef pupusas and the outdoor patio seating since we had a service animal with us. And the customer service was good. It’s sad to see this place go downhill.

Relatable neighborhood, and charming. The menu is full of unique dishes, as well as a solid roster of comfort. Prices are reasonable, about 20 per person before drinks and tax. Nestled in a residential neighborhood you can drive by it without noticing, but its worth it looking out for. Outside seating is perfect for nice weather days. Special without being fussy. 10/10

This is a super cute little place! Super friendly staff and delicious pies and cakes. Some of our food was absolutely delicious but others were lacking. The Greek salad with chicken was super fresh and delicious but for the added price it had very little chicken. The lamb burger was my favorite and had lots of flavor, was cooked perfectly and perfectly yummy. I got beans on the side and these beans are so special, the flavor is so different. The disappointing meal was the hamburger with fries. There was no flavor, it was overcooked and had no salt. The fries also had no salt. We got a piece of blueberry pie, a piece of chocolate pie and a piece of tree leches. All three were absolutely delicious.

This place is the best!!! You can see the quality of the food in this picture. They are always coming up with innovative twists. The owner and staff are kind and accommodating too. I’ve never had a bad meal! But breakfast and lunch are my favorites. I have celiac disease and they have so many options for gluten free.

Placed a pickup order for 2 burgers, went to dig in and bit down on a shard of glass that was embedded in my tune-up burger.

Im lucky as hell to have chomped on the piece of glass (which then broke) instead of swallowing it.

Additionally, my order of chips and guac was missing the guacamole. Safety hazard and time wasted - meal should've been comp'd, but was instead offered extra chips. Food was mid.

Had dinner here on a Friday night and it was pretty busy but service was attentive and fast. They have pretty good drinks and a lot of options on the menu. Plus, they have dessert. Recommend sitting outside on the patio.

Tune-Up Café in Santa Fe has a cozy, casual vibe with a menu full of comforting, flavorful dishes. You order at the counter and then find a seat—they bring the food out to your table. The service was friendly, though you have to ask for water and grab it yourself. It was pretty crowded when I went but the food came out relatively quickly.

I tried the pork belly tacos, which had great flavor, but the tortilla could have been heated more. Unfortunately it fell apart almost immediately. The mole enchiladas were rich and satisfying, and the tamale was solid as well. I also tried their bread, which was fresh and very good. Overall, the food was enjoyable, great portion size and amazing flavor but with a few small areas for improvement. I would return to try more menu options.

If you don’t like the food here, literally just come back and try something else. The specials menu rotates often enough to where you can’t have the same meal twice. Favorite restaurant in Santa Fe, hands down.

I had shrimp fajitas. I thought it was pretty good but maybe a little pricey. The blackboard menu has special items that aren't on regular menu.

I had an amazing experience at Tune-Up Café during my visit to Santa Fe! As someone visiting from Seattle, this place stood out as a true highlight of my trip.

The specials were delicious, and the Caesar salad that came with my meal was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time—fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed. The appetizers were on point, and the pupusas were absolutely phenomenal—packed with flavor and made with care.

Our server, Christy, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Her warm, attentive service made the meal even more enjoyable. She absolutely deserves all the praise—and a raise!

The atmosphere of the café was charming and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great meal.

Highly recommend checking this place out if you're ever in Santa Fe!

Tune-Up Cafe was a good experience! I remember this place as Dave's Not Here growing up. So I wanted to reminisce and see what its like! I got a green chile cheeseburger and it was good! Definitely was having some nostalgic moments eating there and seeing what's different. It's definitely busy and definitely cramped at times. But that's a good thing! Will be back again to try other options! The only reasons not 5 star is that i waited quite some time for service. My server was busy. But I spent an hour and 15 min here for a burger and glass of wine. The ketchup bottle also had built up pressure and tasted a little off. I meant to mention it to my server, but with the busy-ness, I forgot to say something. But I want to comeback and try again for 5 star meal!

My wife and I visited this establishment for breakfast one morning while we were in Santa Fe. We had a great experience. I had Huevos Rancheros with coffee and she had a vegetable scramble with beets, squash, onion and hash browns with cheese. I had never had Huevos Rancheros before, and it was absolutely delicious. My wife enjoyed her meal a lot also. The service was top notch. We would definitely go back.
