This is the hidden gem of Santa Fe, walkable from the Plaza. The wine is great (and made locally) they also have spirits (also brewed locally) so cocktails are available too.

AND THE FOOD. It’s absolutely amazing. It’s a great break from the typical Santa Fe faire. Small plates, every bite is delicious. A group of four of us shared 5 plates and felt very content by the end.

We went here on a whim as it just happened to be close to where we were staying. And what a delightful whim it was! Staff were very friendly. The gin and wine were delicious. And the cook, trained by Alice Waters, came out to the table and chatted with my Alice Waters obsessed mother, which was very friendly and generous. The tapas were also delicious and it sounds like the change up the menu seasonally, which is nice.

Great spot for a cocktail or wine tasting. They have a wide variety of wines and spirits. Light bites and charcuterie boards. I came in here to avoid the worst of the rain, and this place did not disappoint!

I wish I could give 10 stars for this awesome place. Fantastic food (from an Alice Waters trained chef), attentive and welcoming service, and a great art-filled vibe. A perfect spot for a quiet gathering with friends or a group celebration. Check it out!

We had the Continental Wine Flight, the Mistress, and the Brew'd Awakening. All were good but the Slow Roasted Duck stole the show and was absolutely delicious. Pommes Frites were crispy and delicious.

What can I say, this place is great!

We felt very unwelcomed. The chocolate torte was amazing, but I wouldn’t go back for it again due to the service and general attitude of the staff.

VARA is a true treasure! This Spanish winery with a New Mexican twist offers an unforgettable tasting room experience. The wines are exceptional, with a perfect blend of Spanish tradition and New Mexican character, showcasing their deep craftsmanship and passion. The tasting room itself is warm, inviting, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a glass or two. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, making you feel right at home while guiding you through their incredible selections. VARA is a must-visit for wine lovers and anyone looking to experience the best of Spanish wine in New Mexico

Fun place with good wines and cocktails and the food bites are yummy. Summer you can sit outside and winter the fire crackles in the fireplace. Highly recommended.

We didn't eat anything, just shared a couple of tastings on our anniversary! We also took whiskey to-go! By far the BEST old fashion I've ever had! There's a chocolate-cinnamon simple syrup they made and now I'm chasing the delicious high this drink took me on when I first had it. Hopefully we will be back in town next year for more! Thanks again we were the only ones in on a rainy afternoon. Very comfortable setting to enjoy the presence of my honey. The workers are very knowledgeable and friendly and we got to chatting about the north and pokemon! Thanks again for an awesome start to our romantic night on the town!
