Zacatlan is an amazing restaurant that offers a superb dining experience. The food is inventive and high-quality, with abundant and interesting vegetarian options. The menu features a range of delectable dishes, including the falling off the bone lamb shank barbacoa, cochinita pibil, and branzino al pastor. The daily special squash blossom appetizer was phenomenal and the mole poblano was so good. For dessert, the bread pudding tamales with saffron ice cream is a perfect ending.
The restaurant is a hidden gem and a favorite in Santa Fe. The chef appears to be hands on and in charge. It is a very cute upscale place with excellent service and reservations are needed. The creative margaritas and the house sangria are excellent. Overall, Zacatlan is a memorable dining destination that delights with its inventive cuisine and welcoming atmosphere.
