“My husband and I (drive a truck) came through today and we were so pleasantly surprised. We walked in and the staff was so friendly. I was unsure on what to get, and when asked, the waitress told me her favorite type of burger with chiles on it. I forgot what it was, but it was an old fashioned smash burger, which was delightful and reminded me of my childhood. They just don’t make them like that anymore. This burger came on a tortilla with all the usual veggies and chiles! It was SO stinking good. My husband got the chicken fajita plate and loved it! Prices are quite reasonable and the people that run this cute, little place were so kind and made me feel like I was a local. The way they spoke with their customers made me feel like I was in their kitchen at home visiting a friend. Thank you Sun and Sand restaurant for a great place to eat and the hospitality show everyone. The way you make everyone feel when they walk through the doors is quite rare and it was nice to see. Keep up the amazing work! Can’t wait to come back.“

“Joseph's is always a MUST as we enter New Mexico. We look forward to stopping on every trip. Their chiles are always great, and it is always a relief to get some savory, old-fashioned New Mexican food again. The green chile enchiladas and the rellenos are fabulous. The service is always friendly and helpful. My family would feel bereft if we didn't stop.As New Mexicans transplanted in Alabama, I can appreciate true New Mexican food. The only way to eat it in Alabama is to cook it myself. Joseph's is a great way to celebrate coming home.“
