Sun & Sand Restaurant Reviews
My husband and I (drive a truck) came through today and we were so pleasantly surprised. We walked in and the staff was so friendly. I was unsure on what to get, and when asked, the waitress told me her favorite type of burger with chiles on it. I forgot what it was, but it was an old fashioned smash burger, which was delightful and reminded me of my childhood. They just don’t make them like that anymore. We were traveling and stopped for a bite. When we entered the restaurant was pretty busy & the front of the house was very slow. There was a long line to check out. A waitress came over and said she would seat us shortly. We waited 30 minutes, were then seated, and then another employee came over to notify us they were closed. Why did they seat us? Why did they let us stand there for 30 minutes? Not impressed…. The bathrooms were also dirty and out of paper towels.
Great food and. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend
