“This owner is a talented baker. She was kind enough to sell us a few biscuchitos with no notice, and they are the best. I have been eating home made biscuchitos from New Mexico family members all my life and these are better than homemade. Perfect amount of anise-texture and taste is spot on. Doesn’t get better. “So, this place has always intrigued me. Stopped there the first time years ago for dinner while on a road trip late at night. Used to be open 24 hours. The bar is my favorite. I'd suggest you bring a designated driver or get a room next door and enjoy more than 1 adult beverage with your meal. This is a beautiful trip back in time and worth the stop. You'll be glad you did it.”
