Great beers and reuben. Have to update previous review. Not so great and Reuben definitely not up to previous owner's.

The red chili Reuben and house salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing were fantastic. Great beer, too! Our server, Erica, was so nice and interesting to talk to. We are in town for just one night. I’m so glad we found this place!

Great food but tonight’s music was way to loud! Couldn’t talk to anyone at my table. So sad!

Box Canyon Brewery is an absolute gem for anyone who loves bold craft beer and hearty, flavor-packed food. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels inviting—laid-back, friendly, and full of that small-town charm that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Their Triple IPA is truly the star of the show: beautifully balanced, wonderfully aromatic, and impressively smooth for such a strong brew. It’s the kind of beer that grabs your attention with its citrusy hops and lingering, satisfying finish. Whether you’re a seasoned IPA fan or just curious to try something more adventurous, this one is a must.

The food menu pairs perfectly with their beer lineup. Their sandwiches and wraps are fresh, generous, and full of thoughtful touches that set them apart from your typical brewery fare. Whether you go for a classic turkey wrap or a loaded sandwich layered with bold flavors, each bite feels crafted with care. Everything is made with high-quality ingredients, and the portions leave you both happy and full.

What makes Box Canyon Brewery even better is the friendly service and relaxed vibe. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable about the brews, and quick with great recommendations. Overall, it’s an excellent spot to unwind with great beer, delicious food, and genuinely welcoming hospitality. A fantastic stop you’ll want to return to again and again.

My mom got admitted to Socorro General and needed dinner, so I came here. The Turkey Panini with green chile was awesome she said!!! I got the Chicken Ceasar salad wrap, which was pretty much just lettuce unfortunately, still a good flavor, but hardly any meat. I also tried a couple brews, the ice ice baby was absolutely delicious like a cream soda! Lots of games available to play as well. Ian was beyond amazing as well!!! We'll be back for sure!

Sincerely enjoyed my visit, complete with impressive local talent at open mic night (certain Thursdays)

We were told BEFORE we got there that we could dine on their patio. However, when we got there, they absolutely
could not/would not serve us on the patio for another few WEEKS.
Why bother advertising a patio or even having it open if your customers can't be served on it?

We stopped here to eat a late lunch on our way to Albuquerque, NM and the service was great and kid friendly. They had games and coloring books. The food was delicious and had kid friendly options. They were playing 2000s alternative rock which I loved. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place! We stopped by while visiting from Houston and were blown away. The provolone panino was absolutely divine ! perfectly melted, flavorful, and satisfying. We paired it with their wheat beer, which was smooth and refreshing. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and top-quality food and drinks. Highly recommend!

Turned up here Sunday evening - the new owner had just put up a Closed sign.
On seeing our disappointment as we peered through the window, he and his staff welcomed us in, put together a delicious Caesar salad, served us two quality beers and found the time to exchange life stories while we ate.
Now that is what I call hospitality.

Occasionally people will go out of their way to help a stranger. When this happens you don't forget.
Finding ourselves looking for something to eat on a Sunday night in Socorro, we turned up outside Box Canyon. It had closed. I don't know what we looked like from the inside but outside we were a bit deflated, not to say hungry.
For some reason, I don't know why, the owner invited us in and fed us. Not only that, he and his staff bent over backwards to find something we liked.
They also found time for good conversation.
This is a great place. I thoroughly recommend it.

First time there and it was awesome! Best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had! Potato salad was world class along with the craft beers. Robert, the owner, is a super nice guy!
