One of few places open Monday mornings! We were traveling back to Texas from NM and called ahead from Cimmaron to pick up breakfast for our road trip. What luck to stumble upon Zayra's. I LOVE NM sopapillas (the kind WITHOUT sugar and cinnamon, just fluffy fried tortilla) and you can tell these are homemade - fresh hot and fluffy. We all ate just plain bacon (or sausage) egg and cheese burritos and had Christmas salsa on the side (to spice to our own desire) and everyone...
Excellent food with the right combination of flavor and spice. We actually came when I was full and I still ate my burrito really quickly. Also the country music playing was the best selection of songs.

You get a good amount of food for your money, the prices are decent, the atmosphere and taste of the food reminds me of eating at a friend's older relatve's house where the owner is a good home cook.
