Rhodas has great food and drinks as well. Its unfortunate that bartender Eric has been so rude for the last 3 days consistently

There is not that much choice of good food at Taos Mountain. While the atmosphere of this restaurant is pleasant, our food was mediocre. We ordered fish and pork tacos and a pork stew. The food was just tasteless. Our guacamole with chips was good. We will not eat there again.

Not sure what's going on here but the food had less quality then gas station food. On top of that its outrageously overpriced, $17 for a single patty burger, without fries. Unbelievable. DO NOT recommend. Bring your own food/snacks.

The Vegan Tortilla soup was delicious, but I got less than my husband did of a meaty stew, for $1 less. Neither soup was very hot, either. Service was good, but it took 15 minutes to get our soup.

Great place to eat, drink and if sitting outside, watch skiers and snowboarders come down the slopes. Food was really good and atmosphere, inside and out, was perfect. Also friendly staff and service. This was our goto hangout pretty much every day, whether eating or just resting. The swiss bacon burger with fries and beef tacos were excellent. Highly recommend.

This place is located at the base of Taos Mountain. It is in a prime location and for what it is, it's pretty good. Great, Mexican/New Mexico, dishes, and good drinks selection. Because it shares a patio with the common area, lots of squatters that basically take up tables and chairs for long periods of time, but other than that this place is pretty good.

Ate here over the summer and really enjoyed the food and service. Though it wasn't busy, the staff was engaged and offered great service. Location is amazing. The entire Taos Ski Valley was top notch.

Paid $80 for: Beef burrito Beef burrito bowl Cheeseburger 2 soft drinks 1 Coors light The burritos were probably 80% rice, 19% guacamole, sour cream and refried beans and literally 1% beef. There was such a small amount of beef it was almost laughable. Normally I might say something but we haven't had a great overall experience at Taos in general and I just didn't have the energy. My daughter said the Cheeseburger was fine. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Unless you want a martini, Bloody Mary or some other type of cocktail, my advice is just go to the cafeteria place Tenderfoot Katie's next door.

Rhoda's was...OK. It's convenient location right at the base and despite the busy crowds, you can manage to squeeze into a table after ordering at the bar. There are good beers on tap and there's definitely an apres ski energy in the air. Once again, the soup is not hot. Honestly, if the tortilla soup had been the right temperature, it would have been perfect because it was so wonderfully creamy from the coconut milk and was absolutely bursting with flavor. Bummer. The green chile pork stew, on the other hand, was bland and lacking. Our daughter's bacon cheeseburger was pretty good but had way too much of that garlic sauce on it. Fries are fine. We think that our food had been sitting out for a while because there were people who got served before us even though we were way ahead of them. Unprofessional and lazy, but that's what happens when you're prisoner in a ski valley. Three stars but we would be willing to try it again should we ever return to Taos.

It would be great to leave a good review. It is a great VIEW. But the restaurant service is terrible and the food is barely average. We waited 10 mins to order. No one greeted us at the door. The food took over 40 minutes to arrive. The child’s burger cost $19 and came out opposite of the order, had to be sent back.Guacamole tastes good, but for $8 you get about 1.5 tablespoons of guac in a small ketchup tumbler. The waitress said they could not give us a straw because it’s agains their rules. They don’t accept cash, but we asked for the check after the meal. Another snarky response “we don’t take payments at the table- you have to go inside.”Tacos were very small and tasty, but It appears that they sat for a long time and the taco shells were soaked through - so they fell apart and I had to eat them with a fork.It would have been nice if they brought the food earlier as waiting 40 plus minutes for food seems odd when there ate only 3 tables - the place is nearly empty. Sadly we had good expectations because the rest of Ski Valley we had great experiences. Avoid this place and save your sanityOh…and the horrible music selections blaring over the tables It was like nails on a chalk board.

For one of the best margarita in Taos Ski Valley, go to Rhoda's. Their bar is stocked with top shelf tequilas and mezcals, as well as beer on tap, wine, and other spirits. I ordered a skinny marg on my first day there, and it hit the spot. My girlfriend ordered a hot Irish coffee, which seems to be another popular drink amongst the patrons at Rhoda's. The food menu. offers small bites to entrees; I did have a two-bite-sized chicken tinga taco ($5) made with a legit corn tortilla; we also ordered the chips with a trio of salsa, queso, and guac. (Texans, the queso is more of a cheese dip, so maybe just stick with the guac). There's outside seating that faces the base of the mountain, so it's great for people watching. It's dog-friendly, cashless, and counter-service only. They often have a bar outside too.
