Why did they change the pizza? Used to be great, terrible now. Bring it back!

Such a let down after a day on the slopes dreaming of the crispy caramelized crust of the Detroit style pizza. Unfortunately, they changed the recipe and it is bland and underwhelming.

The pizza at this place used to be sooooo good and now it’s sooo bad. Up until recently (in July at least, which is when we were last here), it was Detroit-style (thick, chewy, crispy, and amazing), but they switched recently to something that tastes homemade and not in a good way (shapeless, hard, flavorless). The wings and beers are still great, but man, so sad about that pizza.

bad service, servers were rude when we had a problem with the food (servers were talking about us).The pizza was cold because they forgot to give it to us, and it looked like it was just thrown in the box. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Clean, friendly people, awesome staff, amazing burgers and chicken sandwiches, great drink selection. You can get anything from a beer to a shot of tequila! This place was so good (and the other restaurants had spotty reviews) that we came here for lunch during both of our days!!Got a burger, fries, and a beer for $25 or so. Awesome price for being on a ski resort and for being as good as it was.Highly recommend.

Get a pizza or burger, one of the local beers, and just enjoy. Menus and payment up front. 1F gets crowded by 4:45-5pm and 2F picks up soon after. Moderate wait times by then

Over an hour wait for a Burger that came out cold and over cooked. This is the second time that the food was terrible, I had given them a second chance and will not visit this establishment again in the Taos Ski Valley. They are yet another business that seems to care more about profits than customer satisfaction. They've reduced the portion sizes and do not have enough staff to provide service.

I get it, this spot is about convenience, and that they do do exceptionally well. Visiting ski valley pre-ski season gave us one on site dining option...this one, and to be fair my fiancé ate here four times. Personally,, I put in a two count. On both occasions everything here was an almost...well except the service and the doggos, those were both bomb! Kudos to the servers, who are running the front of house independently at this time of year! As for the atmosphere, the second floor is closed to guests given the off season, and the patio overlooking the stream, far too cold to dine in November. That being said, the interior will do ya! There are a few bar seats, and space for solo diners, along with a few options for group dining of all sizes. Fur babies are welcome, unique (likely local) art adorns the wall, and there's always a special if you're looking for something new to try.The ski sauce, a spicy aioli kicked up a notch with gochuyang is delicious, even if you run the risk of your fries being cut too skinny, resulting in the dreaded dry fry on certain days. The 38 pizza- the concept is strong, and the flavors are fine. I personally could not get over the taste of old fry grease in the corners of ours but the crisp was a1...again, almost! With all of that, I almost wanted to give them 4 stars...almost! Low to mid 3 stars feels right atm, but when we're back in town, we're certainly up for giving them another shot!
