Our go-to for nearly 40-YRS. 5* however the chile Ellen platter could have been hotter, temp-wise, given the cheese needed to have been melted more. The Caesar Salad & Tres-leche dessert was 10*!!
My experience was probably unique that day. I was pleasantly surprised that my reservation wasn't needed as the restaurant was only a quarter full at 9:30. I heard one of the servers explaining that there was only one cook in the kitchen that day. Regardless of the kitchen being understaffed, the food was still amazing. I had the Doc's Sampler at brunch. It was delicious. I wish there were more blueberries in the "stuffed" blueberry pancakes; I only came across...
We went to the Adobe bar before and after dinner. Really enjoyed the music. Dinner at Doc Martins was great. The service was excellent. The ambiance was perfect. Food was good. We will be back.
