Doc Martin’s is attached to the Taos Inn. The atmosphere is fairly casual. I gave the atmosphere 4 stars because it isn’t loud!

The food offerings were everything from burgers, Mexican, to fish. We opted to skip appetizers and just ordered a main course. We chose the trout which was served over fresh vegetables and the piñon crusted chili rellenos. The flavors were nice and fairly mild.

For dessert, a chocolate sundae and carrot cake,...
Drinks and chips and salsa were good and it was nice to hang out there. The entrees were the downside - very bland and beef way overcooked. Wouldn’t come back for an entree especially at that price.
On a Monday evening the restaurant was very quiet. Service was very good, nice conversation with the server. The Blue-Corn Enchilada plate with chicken and green chili sauce was my idea of comfort food -- warm and spicy. My wife had the Roasted Beet & Goat Cheese was very tasty with a very large portion. As always, we had a wonderful time.
