Great southwest food. Very reasonable. Counter service but food brought to table and bused after meal. They have a large selection, I got the chili relleno. Very good.

This is such an easy rating: 5 stars on everything! I came with a bus load of people, arriving around 6:15 pm. Many places would have looks of terror on their faces, but the Guadalajara Grill made us feel immediately welcome. They quickly brought another person to the front (having 2 or 3 taking the orders) and not only were our orders taken quickly, the food was served quickly. Everything was outstanding. Be warned though: the fried ice cream is HUGE and large enough to easily feed 4 people.
One of the BEST things I saw: after our group of 45-50 arrived and were in the process of ordering, a local family came in for dinner. One of the waiters immediately took them to the front of the line to place their order. I appreciate establishments that serve their regular/usual customers first. As a member of a large group, I would hate feeling my large group had to go first just because we were there first. Common sense and kindness is so much smarter.

They used a good quality meat for the steak however it could've used a little more seasoning, and the frijol was a little bland.

I really enjoyed everything at this restaurant. The gal helping us even told us where in Mexico to go to get the best Chicken Mole!(That would obviously not be for a while, lol)

I had an amazing plate of chile relleno with green pepper sauce. Simply delicious! Everything is homemade. Service is friendly, and orders come out fast.

Very happy with our experience! We had just waited over an hour and a half at pizza outback and left when no one could give us an estimated time or let us know if our order was even being made. We saw Guadalajara was very busy but decided to go since they never disappoint. Ordered at the front to super friendly staff who cracked jokes. Sat down and received our food in 10-15 minutes. We were overjoyed. Got a quesadilla azteca and chimichangas. Delicious!! Bussers kept the area super clean and picked up our plates once we were done. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and tasty food! Guadalajara grill is always good and never misses. Great management, well run business, very efficient. Definitely a classic Taos experience. Thank you for improving our evening!

Great food. Kind of cafeteria style. Order at the counter and they bring it out. Place was full of locals avoiding the tourist restaurants. Again, good food. I had the Chili Relleno and a bowl of Posole. Both were top notch!

I got the recommendation to visit here for food from the Taos Pueblo registration desk.
I was given the recommendation by a staff member to try the tacos, and after being overwhelmed by their extensive menu, I ended up ordering the tacos carnitas. I was honestly underwhelmed by this Mexican food. The pork was fried and was very dry. The seasoning overall was lacking and I was not a fan of their salsa -- it tasted like watered down marinara sauce. One redeeming quality was the taco shells, which were pan-seared and doubled up. And the refried beans were good.
I also ended up ordering a small horchata drink which was okay but very very sweet.
But given how extensive their menu is, I may have just chosen the wrong dish and may not be a true representation of this restaurant.

Nice place to eat some Mexican food. The chicken enchiladas were decent, the sauce seemed a little runny, but it was good. The chicken quesadillas were good.
