Orlando's is a must-visit restaurant in Taos, serving some of the best New Mexican cuisine. The chile relleno is a standout dish, with minimal batter and plenty of cheese. The staff is always hardworking and pleasant, making for a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's ambiance is authentic and colorful, with cheerful multi-colored umbrellas outside and a lively kitchen counter inside. Prices are surprisingly affordable, and the red chili is a highlight, with hatch valley green chile also being a favorite. The Christmas Enchiladas were excellent, and the veggie burrito with green chile is recommended for vegetarians. Orlando's offers options for vegans and accommodates kids well, with prompt service. Note that Orlando's is first come, first served, and only serves beer and wine, including a unique white wine "margarita." A small percentage is charged for card use over cash. Overall, Orlando's is a fantastic spot that is not to be missed.
