amazing little cafe! perfect place to eat after fishing, swimming, or rafting in the river! i loved the tacos!!
Stopped in 4/21/24. Bus full of rafters just ordered their food, and I was working close by, so I put in an order after all of them. The kitchen cranked out 15-20 orders and mine in like 15-20 minutes. My Chicken Fajita Burrito was delicious, and considering the amount of people and timing of everything, they did a great job ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The owner and cook were friendly, but our food was mediocre. They have a rodent issue as there was a tray of half eaten candy and mouse droppings on the counter where you order food.Porta potty behind the building.

Avoid. Cook was rude. He apologized and went right back to being downright mean. Acted like we were a real inconvenience. Food was subpar. We were there as part of an all day excursion and no one knew what we were talking about. Paid for lunch twice. Did not get reimbursed because they were "so busy!" So angry with our experience. Never again.
Nice, helpful people. Good selection of recreational equipment. Very grateful for the food. Lovely location
Chef Julio & the Pilar Yacht Club is the best! Driving from Taos to Santa Fe, we came upon this oasis of great food and warm hospitality in Pilar NM Delicious! Chile Rellenos to die for, overstuffed tamales, and Peanut the Tortilla Hound. You might just speed on past this funky little joint but, that'd be a mistake. Great homey food & service, "Food Wars, Order Up," painting on door, canyon views - eat on the porch surrounded by hummingbirds and take a break from the road here. If you're looking for a memorable meal, get those tamales! Warmth and hospitality in spades.
Warmth, hospitality, and great food at a funky roadside oasis. What more can you ask for? Chef Julio is the best. If you're lucky Peanut, the tortilla - loving chihuahua just might grace you with a visit tableside.

I stopped here for lunch. The conversation was as good as the burrito. Definitely give it a try. Sitting out front and eating in the fall sunlight was a beautiful experience.
Such amazing food! The staff is super friendly and I really enjoyed the experience! Highly recommended.
Rico was helpful and awesome. $30 for a private shuttle on the Racetrack section of the Rio grande. They pick you up at your rig at the takeout and drive you back to the put in with your boat already there. Make sure to get there early for breakfast. Quite possibly the best breakfast burrito I've ever eaten.
Really tasty breakfast burritoes. Quiet outdoor ambience. Friendly attentive service. Really glad this place was only a few min from the rental home where we were staying. Gotta get back to try the chile relleno.
