I was honestly blown away at the selection, creativity, and taste! The menu has so many good New Mexican options. The food tastes home cooked like your grandma made it. I might take a trip back up to Taos just to eat there! It’s a must try.

Jake was great! It was a bit busy, but he did a wonderful job taking care of my table efficiently and was kind the whole time. He's obviously a hard worker and is dedicated to providing good service :)) I'm still waiting on my food (I wanted to do this review before I forgot), but it looks good, and both the prices and selection were amazing, especially compared to other places around here. I spent a bit of time looking through different restaurants before picking Ricky's, and I'm pleased with my pick!!

Jake, our server, was awesome! Great food, wide selection, and very cheap for what Taos seems to be priced at. If you're in taos and you don't want gourmet bullshit that blows a hole in your wallet come here

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had, bar none. Their peanut butter pancakes were life-changing; so fluffy with a great peanut butter flavor. But what I'll remember the most is the amazing service. DJ Redhawk was not only attentive, but he was also incredibly friendly. He stayed on top of refilling our drinks and gave fantastic food recommendations. 3 of the 4 people at our table chose what he reccomended and we were not disappointed. He was also just generally a really friendly guy. I can't stress enough how good of a server he was. We'll definitely be back!

It's okay, the sopapillas were very greasy, didn't like the rice. The beans were good. Probably won't go there again.

My wife and I spent three days in Taos on a weekday vacation. Several restaurants had been recommended but we're closed on Monday. We stopped to try Ricky's and we were politely greeted immediately by Andres. He was attentive to our needs due to my wife's disability and came by to check on us frequently. The food was delicious and servings were generous. We were impressed by the atmosphere and went back on our third day in Taos before leaving. Andres was our server again, his enthusiasm was infectious. We traded bad dad jokes and had another wonderful memory to add to our vacation. We had the breakfast tacos and blueberry pancakes..

Great breakfast in Taos. I highly recommend the breakfast sausage pigs in a blanket. Great breakfast sausage wrapped in fresh pancakes with all the butter and syrup you need. It's a BIG breakfast. The staff is extremely friendly and service is fast.
