Cool burger joint in the heart of the downtown of Toas. There's a counter at the end of the bar where you place your order. They'll give you a number and bring it to your table. I didn't drink beer - but looks like they have a ton of different beers on tap.
Burger was good. “Bartenders / waitstaff is lazy. It’s a poor set up when you walk in and have to figure out on your own how to order your food. Can’t just do it from anywhere at the bar. You tip when you pay but if you want a refill or need anything you have to go to the bar and ask for it.

I forgot that restaurants and most things close down "early" in New Mexico. I am glad that I am on the Spanish timeline for food, because The Burger Stand was my last resort for a meal. Boy, was I glad that I am a meal procrastinator. Great burger. An array of beers on tap. Blues music overhead. The staff was warm and welcoming. If I am ever back on Taos, I will seek it out.
