I have been stopping by the Burger Stand every time I am in Taos. Loved the Kobe burger with sweet potato fries. Today was no different. I waded through the construction looking forward to a burger and fries or onion rings. I walked into an almost empty room. There were four adults and a couple of kids. I walked to the counter to order and the waitress was busy tending to customers. It took her a while to notice me and said she'd be with me soon. I waited and waited as she walked around the corner and never came back. So I left. Why should I spend my money in an establishment that obviously did not want my business. So I drove back to Santa and ate at the Cowgirl. Enjoyed my burger and sweet potato fries .

Great food. Craft beers from various vendors and some common beers. Pleasant casual atomsphere, don't under estimate this place

Meh. We really wanted to grab some burgers and this place was walking distance from us so we tried it out. Everything we go was burnt and resembled fast food. Honestly I'd prefer a chik fil a sandwich to the $17 chicken sandwich I got here that tasted like a frozen chicken pattie from costco. I know stuff is overpriced in tourist towns but I'd expect a little better quality for the price. Lesson learned. The menu in person seems very different than the one online and the burgers are clearly frozen thin little patties and not made in house.

Great little place. Sweet potato fries were good and the fried chicken sandwich was pretty descent, just a little over cooked. Low pressure, casual environment.

Awesome spot. Very cool building. Loved that you can order at the bar. Also had good live music and local New Mexico craft beer.
