We had reservations for 545 on the patio. Unfortunately we were in and rushed out in 50 minutes. After our appetizer, the waitress asked for our order. We said we would like to enjoy our drinks first…. And was told chef wanted all orders now. Our salad came before we were done with the muffins and our entree right after. We were not offered dessert.

After years of hearing about this place I finally made a reservation. It was definitely an experience. The Taos Sunset was absolutely the best cocktail I've ever had in my life. The food was presented beautifully. The restored church is spectacular, and really fun to fine in such a historic spot.

I really love this restaurant—I’ve been here before, and the food is consistently excellent.

This time, it was especially busy, and our waitress seemed overwhelmed. I probably would’ve ordered another drink, or even coffee and dessert, if she’d had the time—or willingness—to take my order. When I did ask, she was noticeably rude. Later, she returned and said, “Oh, did someone already take your order?” which felt more like a cover-up for her behavior...
