This place is absolutely what I wanted. Chinese food at its finest. Honestly, in a legendary and historical city like this, I can really say that this place is a great first choice if you're in the mood for some chinese food.

Not very good! Sweet and sour pork was not good at all !!! I gave it to the dogs they liked it!! Lol every thing else was just ok not great!! I would not order from there again , but what do you expect I guess!! Good luck to them hopefully the improve for you by the time you order your food . Good luck ?
We ordered wonton soup and vegetable lo mein takeout. The soup was okay but the quantity was tiny. The lo mein was bland at best and unappetizing at worst. What was really weird was the tip speech the hostess gave while we were picking up our order. Don't pressure people into tipping, it makes me want to tip you less. I also do not feel the need to tip for a takeout order.

Yum! I came to Tucumcari for a rich Route 66 experience and old-school Chinese food at Golden Dragon was perfect instead of an unhealthy burger & fries or steak & potatoes meal. Glad for the option ? Atmosphere is nice with awesome traditional red and gold, very lush like Chicago’s Chinatown!

Unfortunately as however many times I've come to this restaurant its always dissapointment. The service is top quality, the girls there are wonderful and sweet, and the atmosphere is quaint yet colorful. The food however- isnt great. The orange chicken was quite bland, no flavoring at all. I tried my rice to see if its just me- I was able to taste the rice but I tasted nothing from the chicken I ordered.+ Great Service+ Clean tables+ inviting colors- bland food- old chicken

Food was alright. Found a hair in my rice. We had to wait a while for a food (which is reasonable considering we came before lunch rush.) The lomein noodles were subpar, nothing special. The chicken tasted weird. When I went to use the bathroom, the locks didn’t work, and the men’s bathroom smelled bad. This place is okay, nothing really special about it. We didn’t order much, but between 4 people it was $73.48. Lastly, this place is COMPLETELY wheelchair inaccessible. You walk in, and straight away there are stairs. So, to be honest, I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you are REALLY hungry and this is the only place nearby. My husband ordered beef and broccoli, the meat was rubbery , so he tells our server, she reassures us the owner buys the best quality meat, she says " it's probably just over cooked". When checking out she gets a small tip "you didn't like the service?" I say "You didn't do anything about our complaint". She says "I've told my boss alot of times, alot of people complain, but he never dose anything about it." We won't be back.

My family and I were driving through to our next stop for the night but we were hungry and wanted some food. I called in to place my order and the lady over the phone was super nice and helpful. She even called me back when my order was really to be picked up. The inside feels like you stepped into an old Chinese restaurant in Chinatown back in the 90s. It was quiet with not a lot of people. The lady who took my order said the place has been here for over 35 years. We just ordered a broccoli beef dish with steamed white rice, and a chicken lo mein. She also gave us some fortune cookies, as well as paper plates, chopsticks, and plastic utensils since she knew we were taking it back to eat in the hotel. The food itself was not that great. The chicken lo mein was OK and there was very little meat or cabbage. But the broccoli beef was drenched in sauce that I needed a lot more rice to balance out the sauce.

Food was sub par at best. I’ve had Chinese food all over the country some of the worst. Dry hard rice, dry ribs overpriced for the quality of the food. Noodles greasy no flavor. More broccoli than anything in the platters. Honestly would give it a zero if I could never again. Terrible
