We decided to try some Chinese food. The Genral Taos was not good at all. A lot to eat but seemed a bit old and over cooked. It was the worst I have every had. Service was absolutely great! Food? Not so.
The food here is absolutely amazing, its always great when we go. The cashier/hostess is a really nice lady makes it all the better. The cook knows what he is doing.
We arrived here at 8:45 trying to get something to eat their kitchen was closed but then the owner said he could make us some plates good guy!

The Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant offers a typical Chinese dining experience. The food is generally considered "ok" in quality, with prices that are reasonable. Customers often find the dishes like chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, and orange chicken to be good, with some noting that the orange chicken can be a bit dry but still better than other places like Panda Express. The Mongolian beef is frequently praised for its freshness, crisp broccoli, and tender beef with a nice sauce. Some reviews mention that the vegetables are crisp and fresh, and the meat is cooked perfectly.
The restaurant's interior and exterior could use some sprucing up, with old tables, rips in the booths, and chipped paint noted in some reviews. The service from the waitstaff has been described as needing improvement, but the staff at the cash counter are friendly and make customers feel welcome.
Customers have expressed a desire for the restaurant to consider bringing back a buffet option in the future. Despite some issues with the ambiance and certain dishes like overcooked BBQ pork and undercooked cabbage, many still enjoy eating there, especially for the good quality of some meals. The overall atmosphere is reminiscent of a traditional Chinese restaurant.
