One of my favorite places in Northern New Mexico! Try the Prickly Pear Cider, it's wonderful!

Used to stop by here every time I was driving down from Taos to Albquerque. It's an easy stop and charming. And the wine is delicious as well as unique. After some years missing out, I was craving the chocolate wine in particular, so I thought to myself, why not order some? Thank goodness they provide shipping to diverse locations (those that accept wine by mail; not all states do); and I was lucky to receive two amazing bottles of wine. The chocolate wine (called "Black Beauty") was just as scrumptious and rich in flavor as I recalled. I also tried out the Pinot Noir which was surprisingly sweet and layered with fruity flavor. It's been great to have a touch of New Mexico in the house again. Thank you!

I did buy wine but three of the wines I asked for were corked. I could see immediate the orange brown tinge. I mentioned this to the server and hoped for a replacement. Didn’t happen. Nice place but check your wines before they are served.

Had my first tasting at Black Mesa this weekend. First off it’s a very cute area to hang out and have a glass or a picnic. Nice seating area that is well decorated. The wine itself is fantastic. I loved the great descriptions and the staff was more than happy to explain, they truly seemed to love educating and love wine. We did a tasting which offered 5 wines for $10. There was only one I didn’t love. Great place to stop, especially to get new wine drinkers into the fun.

The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. so wake up Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the ashes.- The G-Man

We stopped here on the way back from Taos to Santa Fe. Lovely spot of heaven in the middle of the mountains. Did a wine tasting and relaxed after a long day on our feet. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the Sangiovese and the Viognier the best, so we bought some bottles. There was also a woman selling tamales outside, so had 2 of those. It was a Friday night so there was a singer outside playing live music. They are open til 7 pm on Friday. We sat at a table in the shade on the patio. Life doesn't get any better than this.

Fantastic, welcoming! We were greeted by the cat, who I believe is the owner. Staff rushed outside to give our dog water and some treats. We enjoyed the wine tasters and bought a couple bottles. Talked to everyone on the patio and walked away feeling like we’d made new friends.

Great place! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff in a beautiful setting. The wines we tried were surprisingly complex and drinkable. They are not inexpensive, but we had a lovely time and will go back for sure!

Stopped by here on our annual trip to Red River. Very cool little place. Had a flight of ciders and bought some for the road.

Highly recommend checking out this location. They have a fantastic selection of ciders and wines and the property is gorgeous. I recommend doing the tasting and taking the walk on their trail around the property. Also a bonus if you're an animal lover, they have cats roaming through the property. :)Can't wait to come back.

The blackberry basil and Raspberry cider were delish. Very nice and attentive service. It's definitely worth stopping!

The best winery and cidery in the canyon. The wines and ciders have a haunting aura, so I returned to this place. Love the sultriness of the Northern New Mexico apples, fruits, spices, chiles, and the rustic varieties on the vines. The flavors are subtle with such richness, like an aromatic walk along the Rio Grande. Excellent ciders, now including blackberry basil and prickly pear. Extraordinary wines, also offering a chile sangria. Ambiance and service is over the top. Beautiful petroglyph hike on site. Hope to return soon! Cheers to Sola!
