Searching for a spot to buy a birthday treat after dinner, we were intrigued enough by the reviews of S&L Bakery to give it a shot. It was hard to choose from the many tempting bars, cakes, cookies, and other delights on offer! We chose mini cheesecakes and a slice of pie, which were all very tasty and well-priced for the quality and serving size.

We often like to try bakeries while out and about on our travels. S&L was a delightful surprise. The Sour Dough bread was yummy and the brownies were delicious! Pricing was decent! We will definitely be returning when in the area.

Best bakery we have located in Nova Scotia is inside a convenience store!?!??!! We thought it was a joke and yet came away with some absolutely delicious treats. Whole wheat rolls, choc chip cookies, pie and grade A++ 99% apple turnovers. You gotta experience their baked goods. YUM!!!!

Small bakery located inside a convenience store. On-site classic, traditional baked goods, such as biscuits, variety of cookies and squares. Many types of bread loaves , including gluten-free. The carrot cake, made with pineapple, is absolutely delicious, take it home, and warm up a slice with a cup of tea!
