Iconic spot, glad I stopped by but I wish there were some specials as the pizza was a tad pricy. It was tasty though, with a lot of cheese!

This used to be 'the place' back in the late 90's. So sad, cold donair meat and blah food, bragged about this place for years and was embarrassed to come home to this... possibly new owners, but they should probably just close 'er down and keep the good memory alive.

Yesterday, together with the family, we wanted to enjoy ourselves with something delicious and decided to buy a pizza from “The Wheel”, because the advertising works well. After receiving our order, we quickly went home to have dinner. But pizza itself was tasteless. (((I also did not like that the dough has a large side. The ham was not tasty and dry. But worst of all, after dinner, each of us felt discomfort and pain in the stomach and intestines. That's why I'm writing this post and maybe it will help others avoid such feelings. The evening was ruined. Sorry for the money spent. I do not recommend this place.

5 stars doesn’t even come close to doing this place justice. Any review less than a 4 must be written by someone with brain damage.

I’ve never been more confident giving anything a 5 star in my life. The pizza, the subs, the garlic fingers. Phenomenal.
I started eating Wheel Pizza when I went to university back in 1992 and it hasn’t changed a bit. It’s unique and I’m not sure why it’s unique. Sauce maybe, amount of cheese maybe…but I love it and it’s worth a try if you haven’t tried it or haven’t had it in a while. Although I may not be the diehard that eats it ever time I pass by Antigonish I really enjoy it when I get the opportunity to have it again. It should be noted that I have never been to The Wheel once where I have not seen the owner (Mike Hassin) there working away. No doubt that has more to do with the quality and consistency remaining the same all these years!

The Wheel is legend. Make sure you have the garlic fingers with donair sauce. There's nothing like it anywhere else in the world.
