This place was hopping, but it was worth the wait. The dragon's breath coffee was so good, I went back for a second. The blueberry muffin was nice to hold us over while we waited for our breakfast sandwiches to be made. The BLT on an everything bagel was delicious! Staff are very friendly also.
We continued to rave to each other throughout our nine day Cape Breton vacation that Bean There was “better than good.” Delicious coffee, perfectly made scones and muffins, and hearty breakfast sandwiches to start us off each morning in Baddeck. Even with lines pressing into the small cafe, Susan the owner made us feel welcome and well taken care of each morning. If you visit Baddeck, Bean There is an absolute Must!

This small cafe was a delight to stop at while driving the Cabot Trail. My husband and I purchased some egg sandwiches, muffins, and drinks - all were delicious (behind impressed with the quantity of bacon on the sandwich)! We would stop here again.
