Welcomed as we arrived and felt our table was meant for us. Appetizers we had were the crab cakes and tomato soup. They were very good portion. We had a vegetarian dish and the haddock fish.
Our server Jeriann is so very sweet and always gave us sincere big smiles

We have been here 3 times. Everything it has been excellent in every way. If. you are visiting Baddeck it is a must . The staff is friendly, the service is amazing and the food is delicious. All nestle in a beautiful historic house.

The Cable Room offers a carefully curated menu in a refined setting. The scallops and crab cakes were excellent, as were both the desserts we sampled (sticky toffee pudding and the seasonal pavlova).

Definitely the best dining option in Baddeck. We stop there each time we visit Cape Breton and it is always a highlight of the trip.

One of the best meals I have had in a long time. Do fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. We have food allergies and it was so wonderful to have many options to choose from. The chicken dinner was generous serving and loved that it had a variety of perfectly cooked veggies and addition of cranberry sauce. I had the white wine and it was perfect. Our waitress answered our questions and was so nice. (sorry forgot your name, beautiful petite older lady) We most appreciated that they could fit us in without a reservation that evening. We were honouring my dad that night so it really was special.

We wander in quite late and they were very accommodating! We ordered appetizers and mains (salad, crab cakes, soup and lobster risotto + pot de cream). The portions were good, the food was hot and quite flavorful. We were both very happy with our meals. Our server was lovely - friendly and helpful. At times things were a little slow but overall we were very happy with our meal. Would definitely recommend.

Great ambience, food and service! White tablecloth service in a comfortable environment. And if you're lucky you'll get Adrianna to take care of you ... full of smiles and a great sense of humor 🙂 I had the fish cakes and the scallops... both were delicious!!

Probably the best food and certainly most consistent in Baddeck. The farm to table menu is locally sourced and nicely presented. The mushroom risotto is excellent. I’d highly recommend it.
