The food and drinks were delicious and it was a perfect setting for a Christmas party. It was decorated well and everything was organized well and went smoothly. Would definitely recommend!“

“It was my first time here this morning and boy was I impressed!!! Got an eclair, muffins and some cookies. DELICIOUS. Couldn’t even tell they were gluten free! Extremely friendly service too. I highly recommend this place. I’ll be back for sure when I’m in Halifax :)“

“Was beautiful on the patio even if we had to run under the awning as it started raining enough that our buns would get soggy.

The lentil burger was to die for and the sweet potato chowder was delicious as well. However it did get cold fast so I didn’t finish it, was a lot of food regardless. Well worth it!

Lamb burger & roasties were the bomb as well. Didn’t get a photo though.
Our sever was amazing as well, although his name escapes me atm.

We spent the year in Portland, Oregon (a vegan wonderland) and Wild Leek has the best vegan food I've eaten all year, and the best vegan mac and cheese I've had in my life. Amazing flavors, amazing textures. These folks nail it! Ocean was a wonderful host and kindly let us charge our laptops and get some work done over lunch. Support these wonderful women!

I am an extreme vegetarian, and priya went out of her way to offer to make me pizza with toppings from a completely different station so there would be no meat contact. Then cleaned every utensil before using, and was extremely careful when making my pizza. These 2 workers go out of their way to give customers the best possible experience. “Great food! Great customer service! Everything was delicious. Waiters are exceptionally nice and kind. We were visiting out of province and we were flying out the next day, we ran out of tea bags and didn’t want to buy a box of tea, my husband asked them for one tea bag and they were so happy to provide us with not one but 4 tea bags. They packed our food in containers and gave us cutlery to take back to hotel. Thank you very much.“

“We recently ordered cupcakes with Delectable Desserts for a very special occasion. They were absolutely perfect! Right after opening up the box, we were totally impressed with the beautiful presentation. These cupcakes were just incredibly decorated. Each one of them was like a small piece of art. We had a sampling of a number of flavors, all of which were successes. The cakes were incredibly moist and light, sweet but not too sweet. The frosting was very smooth and creamy, full of flavor, not too sweet, and complemented the cake. Delectable Desserts really made our occasion special. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really showed in every single bite. The service was great. The hospitality of the staff, warm and accommodating, showed in their passion for the job. They made sure everything was perfect with our ordered dish and delivered it on time, hence making the experience seamless and a joyful one. In short, we could not be more pleased with our Delectable Desserts cupcakes. They were truly the star dessert of the show at our special party, and our friends and family just loved them. “We had the fish cakes with cesar salad, and bangers and mashed (so good we shared), delicious and the presentations were amazing. Price was affordable. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Live music was very relaxing and entertaining. A young lady named Kayla Mason was singing and playing acoustic guitar. Beautiful voice.

“I am from Ontario in town to take care of family matters for my Auntie. I stopped by Edible Matters a few days ago and got cheerful and excellent service from a young blonde man. He made me my first and memorable bluenose latte! It was soul soothing and so yummy! Today, I stopped by again, to get another one and was so impressed by the 3 service staff behind the counter! Kind, courteous, efficient, professional, and genuine. 5 stars ⭐️ I realized later I left my wallet.; it was kept safely behind the counter. I arrived rather distraught…from that and other things. Seeing that I was promptly offered a really big, supportive, you-got-this, we-got-you too, it’s going to be ok HUG 🤗!!! Not once…but twice…by the sweetest young woman. I should have asked her name. I hugged her back too hard and definitely too long! lol It was complete medicine and helped so much. Thank you. The other 2 young men behind the counter were also empathetic too. The reason I went to Edible Matters was because my Auntie loved it…and shared it w me. I think the first hug was from the barista and the second one from Auntie…in the way she could 😇 I am so grateful to your staff for the excellent service, healing tea, keeping my wallet safe and such genuine kindness.“

“So, I just tried this veggie pizza from a local spot, and it was legit amazing! The crust was crispy outside but soft inside—perfect combo. Toppings were on point: colorful bell peppers, tanduri paneer, onions, and juicy tomatoes. Cheese was all melty and creamy, blending so well with the veggies.“

“A good place to try. Both shop + cafe, lots of light, good service. I enjoyed fish cake and berry dessert which name I can't remember but it tasted so good and fresh accompanied with coffee. No common fast food like fish and chips or hamburgers, which is good for me, because the food tastes like home made , gives different taste and emotions. I'll go there again for more desserts.“
