“I am from Atlanta GA and had the pleasure of discovering these Cinnamon swirls at Petite Riviere General Store while camping at Rissers Beach Campground on vacation...I purchased 2 swirls and they were the best I have ever eaten...Since the General Store only gets a shipment on Fridays, I was not able to purchase anymore...So on our way to visiting Halifax for the day, we made a detour off of Hwy 103 to Blockhouse and stopped at Boulangerie La Vendeenne...where I forced myself (Yeah right!!!) to buy 8 more to enjoy in the mornings with a cup of tea...But the story does not end here...That following Friday as we towed our camper to our next destination, we stopped at the General Store and purchased 5 more Cinnamon swirls (Like I was going to pass on that oppourtunity!)...As of today, I am down to only 1 1/2 swirls left and they are just as good out of the freezer and warmed as they were fresh in Nova Scotia!...I sure wish Boulangerie La Vendeenne would ship to the US as I would certainly enjoy ordering some for special occasions!”

“easily one of the best coffees I've ever had, insisted we make time on the other side of a stay in Lunenburg to hit it again. Canadiano was toptier. plus it's on the Mahone Bay Faerie Trail Walk, which is also a treat, kid loved it, honestly I loved it. Great place”

From the cute decor to the excellent service (shout out to Justin) to the delicious gourmet food, this is a must try if you are in Lunenberg. Be sure to make a reservation as even on a Sunday evening it was very busy! Our favourites were the Sepia pasta and the scallop & lamb risotto…and of course, the desserts (if you have to choose just one, the cheesecake is mouthwatering).”

“Went with my wife on a Sunday evening and got a table right away. Service was super quick, deep fried pepperoni appetizer in under 5 minutes, and our mains arrived before we were done with it.
