Sushi Bay Japanese Cuisine

Food was great, however service left something to be desired on our last visit. Reservation was for the incorrect amount of people. The main dish came out before the appetizers. All mains were brought out at a different time, and everyone else was finished eating before I got mine. My appetizer was brought out when I was ready to leave. It was definitely busy, but should be more prepared. I will still go back, because the food is great.

It’s so great to have a sushi place on the south shore! Sushi Bay is a welcome addition to Bridgewater. They offer a good selection of veggie sushi options (I’m always a fan of a good avocado roll). The food was quick to come out and was so delicious and fresh tasting, some of the best sushi I’ve had. Service was good as well! Tempura IS vegan friendly and recommended!!! I love this place! Great food and friendly staff. Best sushi around in my opinion.

I never got to try any of their food sadly. The sign at the entry way said "Please Wait to be Seated", so I waited, and waited, and waited. The staff saw me, and ignored me. To be clear, the restaurant was mostly empty at that time, not busy at all. Do yourself a favour and just go get the sushi at Superstore.

I have eaten in and taken out at Sushi Bay many times and it is always delicious, the food is prepared with care and the ingredients are fresh. I am glad to have such a good restaurant so close to my workplace.

Ordered on DoorDash. Not happy with the quality nor with the value for money. Wanted to love it and very disappointed

I ordered the Unagi Donburi which came with miso soup. I chose spicy miso soup. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted very good despite it being in a small town.

Service was awesome, friendly courteous staff. My husband is not a sushi person but found plenty of other menu items to please him. Definitely will be back.

The lady who is working here doesn't greet me; she never came to me asking what I want. Me and my wife feel very uncomfortable. Because she doesn't treat all the customers like that. May be because of my colour? I don't know. You guys are making decent food. But in such a behaviour, you're probably going to lose lots of customers. And we are not going to eat it from here.

Was visiting my friends who live in mahone bay last Saturday and we were craving for a nice dinner. They recommended this place, and the food was absolutely delicious! I have sushi regularly in the Halifax area and this spot is def. above the average. Everything was prepared perfectly, and you can tell they’re doing things right. The server was also incredibly knowledgeable about the sushi menu, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend!
