The Local Public House Reviews
We were exhausted after a long day and didn't feel like cooking. So we went to the Public House and had an absolutely fabulous meal with incredible service from Michaela! Our previous experiences at PH had been only 'so-so', but we'll be going back!
Cute atmosphere, nice servers, food was reasonably quick and definitely yummy! Recommend 👍 Thank you (GF options)
Shepards Pie Soup - Oh my, to die for. So delicious! huge serving with a roll $8.00. That was the deal of the day!
Great service but unfortunately I didn't get the gal's name.

The Local Public House is a cozy restaurant known for its delicious food and great service. Must-try dishes include the fish and chips and Shepards Pie Soup, which is "to die for" and a great value at $8.00. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere that customers enjoy, making it a popular choice for date days or casual dining. The friendly and attentive servers, including Tiffany, ensure a pleasant experience, always making sure guests have everything they need.
While the food is generally praised for its quality, some customers have noticed issues with specific meals, such as the beer battered fish and chips, where presentation was appealing but portions of fries were skimpy and the fish was unevenly cooked. Despite these concerns, the coleslaw and tartar sauce received high marks, and many customers are eager to return to try other dishes. Overall, with fresh and tasty food, good prices, and a cozy atmosphere, The Local Public House remains a highly recommended spot for diners.
