Fo'c'sle Tavern Reviews
Awesome place, Try to treat myself at least once a week there. Maybe the cook was having a bad day, but when you pay top $ for food, you expect it to be very good ,its what brings customers back for a second/Third visit &so on, but my last experience was not as enjoyable as previous visits, due to salad was "limp" indicating it was several days old.. the seafood linguine was cold, combined with seafood that was "mushy" indicating out of date seafood.

Fo'c'sle Tavern in Chester offers a variety of tasty dishes, including a highly praised bean burger that vegetarians enjoy for its flavorful details, and a perfectly cooked steak. The lobster bisque is also highly recommended for its incredible taste. Customers have also raved about the fish and chips, which are considered some of the best ever, and the stuffed haddock with scallops, shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and an incredible sauce. The seasonal salad is described as super fresh and delicious, and the chowder is so good that it keeps diners spooning happily. The Poutine ($14) from the “Starters” section, made with actual cheese curds and a choice of beef or turkey gravy topped with scallions, is highly recommended. The staff are friendly and fun to deal with, providing attentive and personable service that many customers appreciate. While sometimes there may be a delay in food delivery, the food and service continue to receive praise. Their newer seating area, possibly an old storefront, may lack ambiance, but the overall experience remains positive. Customers enjoy meals like fire burgers, chowder, sweet potato fries, and the unforgettable blue berry strudel cheesecake, making Fo'c'sle Tavern a favorite spot for many. Parking is available on the corner, though using a smaller car is suggested due to narrow streets.
