It's been a long time since I went to a Pub for a meal. Last time was 20 odd years ago, when Chicken wings were all the rage. The Foc'sle is way beyond that. The chef there really knows his business. I had a Seafood Risotto, my wife, Stuffed Haddock. Both plates were delicious, with enough to fill you up, but not so much that you wouldn't want desert. I enjoyed every bite. I will say that it's the first time I ever had an ice cold stout. It's not bad. Great place to eat. Very much recommended.

Went for dinner. Overall, had a lovely meal. Ordered the Lobster Bisque and the Seafood Fettuccine. Both were quite tasty but came out super hot. Unfortunately, the fettuccine sauce broke so was mostly butter. There was a good amount of seafood though. The server was lovely but it got quite busy so service was slower than we thought it would be.

Had a great meal of fish cakes, great location, service and atmosphere.
Well, my wife loved her salad but I wasn't as happy with my steak and scallops. I have eaten scallops most of my life because I come from a long line of scallops fishermen but this was the first time that I tried them close to being raw and one of them was even on the cold side. Im sure that someone else will have a better experience than what I had.

Awesome place, Try to treat myself at least once a week there. Maybe the cook was having a bad day, but when you pay top $ for food, you expect it to be very good ,its what brings customers back for a second/Third visit &so on, but my last experience was not as enjoyable as previous visits, due to salad was "limp" indicating it was several days old.. the seafood linguine was cold, combined with seafood that was "mushy" indicating out of date seafood.

Outstanding place! Fish and chips was one of the best we ever had. The stuffed haddock was cooked to perfection with scallops, shrimp, cherry tomatoes and incredible sauce. The staff wad very friendly and fun to deal with. Highly recommended!

Been unimpressed the last few visits. Finding it overpriced and can't even get a free glass of water, must buy bottled water. Waitress wasn't too attentive, never asked us if we wanted another drink. Owner is not very friendly, just counting dollar signs. Don't think I'll be back.
