Great little cafe. Food was delicious. My friend and I shared our order so we could both try it. Pear, arugula and Brie and the other was Tuscan chicken panini.

If you are going to stop anywhere for breakfast/lunch or a quick treat stop here!!
After touring surrounding areas - in off season November - I was greeted by friendly staff as soon as I opened the door, an incredible menu and such quick service and the food was perfection ❤️
If you get the chance to sit and enjoy a meal here take it!

Charming eatery in Chester, NS.
My friends and I all enjoyed our respective lunches.
I had the crab and lobster chowder and it was delightful.

Their iced latte was amazing! Food was good. The toast seemed to be homemade sourdough. Great vibe.
One of the waitress seemed off (aloof) - but we all have those days. She still gave good service.

Pleasant eatery. Although, a little put off by the sticky table. The server was a bit short when we asked for the table to be cleaned. She did explain that the table tops always feel sticky; something to do with the finish. Totally enjoyed the Kiwi Burrito; [Scrambled eggs, cheddar, avocado, and pico de gallo in a whole wheat wrap]. The coffee was okay, but could have been hotter. Overall, a good experience and I would go back.

I had the best lemon pie EVER!
It looks fabulous, tastes terrific!
Especially the meringue on the top, that is the real deal.
Love the lobster chowder too. Many lobsters, great balance with chowder.
Definitely coming back, told my friends this place already.

The food is good but the prices have gone up so much, it doesn’t merit the cost.
Also the finish on the tables has degraded so they are always sticky.

We stumbled across the Kiwi Café in Chester and of course being Kiwis had to stop in for coffee and a light lunch. We ordered cappuccino’s which came with a piece of Lindt chocolate, so nice and had the bacon and egg roll and Tomato soup which was delicious. The food was good, and they also had a nice variety of cakes on display.
It was lovely to meet Linda, the owner and have a chat about NZ. Great hospitality and service, we highly recommend visiting if you are in Chester.

We stopped for a quick cup of tea at the end of the Sunday hours.
The staff were very friendly and indicated that they would be closing soon but still served us.
There's a lovely gift shop as part of the café. Lots of lovely art on the walls as well.
We didn't have a chance to able the treats but they looked delicious.

Finally dined at Kiwi Café today, been meaning to do so for years. I was quite disappointed. The lobster roll was subpar, it was dry and lacking flavour - too many of those rubbery, mealy claw tip bits negatively impacted the texture, I couldn’t finish it. It definitely didn’t have the large lobster chunks the menu boasts, it was mushy. My husband ordered from the all-day breakfast, his side of roasted potatoes were stellar! He enjoyed his meal. The service was OK - the young lady who directed us to a table was really nice but our actual server wasn’t so much, until it was time for us to pay & leave. Don’t think we’ll be back but glad I don’t have to wonder what it’s like anymore. The baked goods look really good, I have to say.
