The spot was amazing and incredible view and short walk from our Airbnb. Everyone was kind and inviting from the host to our server. We were constantly checked in on, we had our 11 month old baby with us who we also felt very welcomed with. Food was delicious, our sweet server even gave us some milk to give the baby as he woke from his sleep and was a bit fussy. Great spot, wonderful staff and delicious food !

We found this restaurant online through chat GPT and the reviews were excellent. The ambiance is lovely and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The menu could be considered a bit limited by some people. The kale salad was excellent. We split the fish and chips and the steak frites and both were very good. The parm fries were nothing special - just fries with parm sprinkled on the top fries. There aren't many restaurants in Cheticamp so this is definitely worth a stop

My fiance and I spent the past week doing the Cabot trail, and by FAR the best meal we ate on our trip was at L’Abri. Truly everything we ate and drank was 10/10. Started with the pomegranate rhubarb sour, which was so delicious. We ordered the broccolini, quinoa bowl, and burger, all of which were so good. I was skeptical about the quinoa bowl, but it was the best I’ve ever had. Normally we’re not even dessert people, but the food was so good that we opted for a vanilla crème brûlée that did not disappoint. Could not recommend this place more!

The lobster roll was a disappointment as it was just served in a hamburger bun essentially the lobster was fine

Would not recommend. Overpriced food for the quality. The fries were inedible and hard. A fork couldn't even pierce through it. Pasta was overcooked and mushy. Very expensive for very poor quality food. Avoid!

Loved the food and drinks, but oh my, their dining hall is just absolutely lovely around the sunset time!

Fabulous dining experience! Casual but classy, music level just right, SUPER friendly staff, and the food absolutely delicious.

This place is a must go to! The only thing better than Pat the bartender’s amazing hair is his ability to make people comfortable and keep them with a smile on their face! The amazing food and atmosphere is just a bonus!

The food, cocktails, and service are excellent! We tried several other dining options but kept coming back to L'Abri. For not much more money, you get really elevated food and service than other nearby options. The atmosphere is great, too. Loved every meal. We will be back!

Our experience was great. We chose to make a reservation after seeing feedback and we're glad we did. The atmosphere is really cozy. The food was delicious. We waited a little long, but we knew the kitchen was busy, so we didn't care. We did the truffle/parm fries to start. My husband had the burger, and I had the steak. I chose to add on the scallops and do the specialty broccolini. No regrets. It was all perfect. Steak was rare and melt in your mouth. No gristle. Perfect. The music was appropriate (nothing crazy). Service was friendly and welcoming. Yes, it's pricey, but in our opinion it was worth it.

Amazing restaurant and food. This place was busy for good reason. Amazing fish and chips. Gluten free fryer allowed my father to enjoy their GF fish and chips which is a rare option for him. Highly recommended but make a reservation if possible.
