The Doryman Pub and Grill

Terrible experience due to being hustled out of $24 by the door man for music that we didn’t get to hear. We didn’t have any cash on us and they kept trying to hustle cash out of us so eventually when the ATM was broken, they made us go back to the ATM and keep trying even as our hot food was sitting there getting cold. Everything about our cabin trail experience was great except for this was horrible and I would never come back. I still can’t believe we were swindle out of $24, when we arrived, it was well before 6 PM. We were leaving right around six as the music begun., paid $24 heard one song around 6:15 and left…

Saw the signs as we drove around the area. Stopped and paid their cover charge. Sat down and within minutes, the entertainers, a local couple starting a fiddle / organ combo. It was upbeat and the crowd joined in. We ordered and continued to enjoy the music. We tried their trash can nachos and then shared fish and chips. Everything was exceptional!!!

We had a really nice time here. The food is good, not outstanding, but does the trick. The atmosphere is great with a great view of the sunset over the ocean. Great fiddle music later in the evening.

Stopped here for some seafood and it didn't disappoint. Mussels, pan fried haddock, battered haddock and bacon wrapped scollops were all delicious. My wife had the salmon and said it was delicious as well.

After driving around the Highlands for 3.5 hours and finding nothing open we were very hungry! This place had good reviews and we weren't disappointed.

The portions are a great size, plenty to choose from and the local beer was a hit with my partner.

Very chill atmosphere when we were there but it was mid afternoon on a Monday off season. Clearly some great music events here!

Fantastic atmosphere! Felt like we were stepping back to a time where communities gathered in places like these. Great music, great food. The seafood chowder and fish and chips were delicious!

This is the last Sunday of Celtic Colors, and we had hoped to catch a last performance of some fiddle music along with dinner. No such luck. We had dinner, but the music was a rock band. There was a cover charge if you were staying for the music and since it didn’t interest us we decided to just have dinner and go. The food was OK but not particularly good. My wife tried to get steak tips medium rare, and they arrived with essentially no pink inside. Tons of mashed potatoes were good. I had the seafood chowder, which was tasty but really only contained dry textured fish. The roll that came with it was good. The service was great. We did not finish eating before the band started. When they did start, they were painfully loud. We paid and left as quickly as possible.

Parking: A dirt parking lot is found behind. For those in RVs, smaller ones will fit, but it can be tight. It is also not level but close enough. We parked against the grass in the back. We are 27' long. If Much longer than us, and you will find it impossible to navigate.
