“I had a fantastic lunch here yesterday around 1 pm (03/20). My server was friendly and efficient, and the kitchen was incredibly quick. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my lunch hour! The calamari was perfectly crispy with a delicious tomato-based sauce that reminded me of pesto. My seafood chowder was light, flavorful, and packed with an array of fresh seafood – it was absolutely the star of the meal.I'll definitely be back to explore their menu further – highly recommend this spot for a satisfying lunch!“
“Treble has a varied and imaginative menu offering tasty food with creative names highlighting local culture. The many drink options include wine, mixed drinks as well as local and foreign draft on tap. Attentive and friendly service is a hallmark of this well appointed neighbourhood pub.I especially applaud that the health conscious can order half fries and half house salad, adding greens to your meal. And I must say, their house salad is delicious with dried cranberries, nuts, and other flavourful ingredients.I had the fish cakes with the fries/salad and a Guinness. Both very tasty! My wife had the fish with a Caesar salad. She gave them both two thumbs up??.Well worth repeat visits!Parking: Large parking lot with dozens of spaces.“
“This place is a must try! It is by far one of the best restaurants in Halifax. The location itself is a bit rundown but it’s cleaned up well and the atmosphere altogether is amazing. Super casual and low-lit, perfect for a fun and relaxing experience. Overall very enjoyable. Especially the food. Everything I ate was top tier, you can really tell the chefs are very skilled. No appetizer/entree was overshadowed, each dish itself was its own delicious experience. Absolutely phenomenal, I couldn’t have been more pleased or impressed. Even the service was superb, all food and drinks came out quickly but with enough time between everything to actually enjoy your meal. 100% worth your time and money.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten-free options. I find a lot of restaurants don’t have many good celiac friendly options, most of the time the food is mediocre. Yet, here I truly felt the experience and almost half the menu is gluten-free.“
“Well, I must say the service was fantastic and Alexa. She was so adorable friendly kind helped us with the menu finding a selection. I love this place ever since I was small. I came back here and it’s amazing. Everything looks the same so bright an elegant. The feeling is nice. the price is great don’t matter how much it would be. I would pay for it just because of the environment but the food is also amazing, the people in here are friendly Kind I would recommend this place to everyone what a lovely experience. It’s good to be back after 30 years if I come back to Nova Scotia this would be the first place I come to and I hope Alex is here thank God for this establishment and for this speech, I hope I get a discount next time I come maybe a free meal. lol ?????? ??? Can’t wait to come back again.“
“Perfect little spot for a bite and a beer! Food and beer was great, and the service was impeccable. Special shout out to our waiter Brownie for being welcoming, attentive and just straight up good at his job (he literally knew the regular customer’s order by heart!). 10 outta 10 would recommend“
“One of my favourite places to eat. While the food is great, it is the staff that make the dining experience special. A very casual pub.Parking: Downtown city location so there are parking garages and street parking but you may have to walk a block or two. Worth the walk.“
“This is my favorite beer bar in eastern Canada. 15 rotating taps of all NS craft, 2 extra cask taps, and 4 wine/cider taps. The food menu is small with excellent bar bites and burgers. A nice warm atmosphere rhat has stayed consistently great for years. If there is any downside, it is that the place is almost always packed and a bit noisy - but that just shows you how popular it is.“
