“We ordered Buddha Satay bowl, Chipotle Cheddar bowl and tomato soup and the experience was amazing. Bowls are very tasty and with good portion. All the ingrediants were of very good quality and perfect in combination. Tomato soup was very creamy. I highly recommend this place as healthy & tasty option.“
“I have been creeping on real fake meats for awhile and thought there's no way it can be as tasty as it looks. finally got to try it today and it was mind blowingly good. I had the Benny (small portion, which was by no means actually a small portion). wow. my son had the grilled cheese and fries and he loved it as well. amazing food, amazing service, this will definitely be a stop for our halifax trips!“
“Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting Halifax.We made a reservation online, but there was plenty of seating available. However, it isn't a big dining room, so plan accordingly.We ordered the pakoras as an appetizer, and they we're served with two different types of sauces.The chilli lime burger was delicious as well and served with potato wedges.Our bill for 3 of us, including one appetizer, 3 lunches, 2 non alcoholic, and one glass of wine, was $100 before gratuities.Vegetarian options: The menu is plant based and they have nut free and gotten free options available.“

I recommend the red pepper pure from the cold plates.I can’t say enough good things about this place. A gem in Halifax that shouldn’t be missed.“
“We had to rush and our server and restaurant were very accommodating. Our food came out at record pace once we notified them that we had to catch rebooked flight. It was too bad we couldn’t enjoy the wonderfully prepared meal at a more reasonable pace, but we will return in the future if we’re in Halifax again.“
“This place has FANTASTIC food. I highly recommend the Springwich and the dill pickle pasta salad. Their groceries are great too, wide variety and their fresh food is well priced. Amazing staff who seems to really like the neighbourhood and are super friendly. I never miss a chance to stop in AND they are on the food delivery apps!“
“My favorite restaurant in Halifax. I've been going here for 6 years. Unfortunately another casualty of the COVID lockdowns--the restaurant is now permanently closed. I feel so bad for the owners having invested so much in the city only to have it taken away from them through no fault of their own. Thank you for all the good years.“
“Johnny K's located on pizza corner was the perfect spot for us to take our "out of town" guests for the official food of Halifax as we had a vegan in the group. I had heard they had a vegetarian donair available and we were very pleased at how accommodating they were to make that vegan. The traditional donairs had tons of meat and no one walked away disappointed.“
“We came by for supper on a Monday night. Fabulous food, service (great job Adam). We had a variety of food and drinks from the menu. I ordered the lobster pasta special. Very good! We will definitely stop by again when we visit from Alberta.“
