John's Lunch Reviews
A must stop hole in the wall ma and pa shop that serves great food. they were never anything fancy but that's not what they ever tried to be. made it seem like you were back in the 90s with great people before the world went nuts. love their clams, poutines were on point and their sea food in general.. they will be missed.
went there for the very first time ever and it was amazing food. had the haddock bites and they were the best I ever had. not greasy at all, moist and juicy and very light and tender. got the large and had more than enough to split with my hubby. just sad that I waited this long and it's closing soon.
We used to eat here back in the day and it was the best . We ate here yesterday and was very disappointed. This place is going down hill. The fish wasn't fresh it was hard and dry.. Seafood platter was small and the seafood was tasteless. Not sure what happened to this place but you just lost two customers. Doesn't really deserve any stars. Don't mean to be negative just being truthful. Definitely not worth the money we paid.

John's Lunch was a beloved spot known for their fish and chips, clams, and burgers. Visitors praised the haddock tips, fries, slaw, clams, and poutines, describing the food as superb every visit. The restaurant had a nostalgic feel, transporting diners back to the 90s with great food and friendly service. Many customers emphasized the high quality of their seafood, especially the clams, which are made from fishmonger's fresh catch. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was wheelchair accessible with paved access from parking. Although John's Lunch has closed for good, customers were directed to Pleasant Street Diner for similar delicious meals. John's Lunch will be dearly missed by those who enjoyed their classic seafood dishes.
