A great li'l seafood market that had U15 scallops when no where else did (apparently there was a short supply of scallops when we were visiting). If you want to do a fancy homecooked seafood meal, this is the place to get the premium stuff.

The take out os closed now and likely won't be reopening. Carla has cooked for over 40years and wants to slow that part down. The fish market is incredible! Love the whole digby clams frozen in 1lb packaging. Thanks Carla

We spent a few days exploring this part of the province, in Clare. We came to Digby looking for a scallop roll — and we found it! It was generous and delicious. Right next door there’s also a small fish shop where I discovered dried fish — something I haven’t seen in Halifax. Now I’m enjoying it little by little at home, because to get a new batch I’ll have to come all the way back here. And I definitely will — as soon as I finish the last piece of my dried fish! 🐟💛
Such good seafood! We had the scallops, lobster roll and the fish and chips. Generous portions and so fresh. I would have stayed another night in town just to have dinner here again!

My husband and I shared a fish burger and a large order of haddock bites. Both were delicious and plentiful, and the service was fast and friendly. Carla’s is definitely “the stop” for takeout seafood in Digby!

Great selection of fish on offer from the market, and very reasonably priced too. The breaded Perch was delicious with home fries, and the Haddock bits were excellent air-fried in coconut panko breadcrumbs. Very meaty and tasty.
From the restaurant side, definitely recommend the shrimp and chips, or the fish and chips. 'Small' portion is three pieces of fish, more than enough for one, served with homemade coleslaw and tartar sauce. Everything was delicious. Quick service too, we had our food within 10 minutes of ordering.
