“This Wendy's on Forrest Hills has been our go-to for years! The drive thru is the fastest I've ever seen, and they rarely mess up my order (once they gave me the wrong pop, but I was able to swap with someone else in my family). The food is always hot and delicious. We never go to McDonald's anymore because this Wendy's is close to our house and never disappoints.

Vegetarian options: They have great salads and baked potatoes

Dietary restrictions: The Chilli, baked potato and their taco salad is GF (I know these for sure because my wife orders them).

Parking: Always close parking around

“The restaurant is predominately consistent with my orders. The food is usually fresh with their spicy meat being the best. Employees are friendly as well and they will help you if there was a mistake with your order on their side. One of them being Baljeet Kaur who always greets me whenever I enter. The music the staff plays also adds to the atmosphere making it cool spot!“

“My wife and I decided we wanted to eat out last evening. We weren’t necessarily looking for fast food, but we weren’t looking for fancy food either. We dropped by Krave Burger last evening and wow! The burgers were awesome and the fries were fresh cut and equally tasty with just the right amount of salt mixed in! The staff were wonderful and even recommended an alternate meal for us, which actually turned out to save us a little money. The person at the drive-through was courteous, smiled and was just lovely. She clearly enjoys her work and it shows. I know it’s just a burger and fries, but it was served with a friendly smile great service and we just loved it. Their burgers are amazing. “after living in halifax for over 4 years i must say the most disappointing customer service and most hurtful incident of RACIAL profiling I ever had to deal with has been at the Burnside freshii..... after walking in between meetings while talking to my business partner on the phone, I was refused service by the MANAGER . who told me he will not serve me.... when asked why he refused to serve me he told me I was disrespecting him by coming to his cashier register on my phone...... of course this manager them walked around from his counter walked right into my face to intimidate me..... when i proceeded to try to make my order after been hungry running back and forth to meetings all day he proceeded to call the police... thanks to freshii Burnside I am once again reminded that my appearance is either threatening or offensive.... either way it was made clear that my kind is not welcome.....!!!“

“Love the menu. Everything I get I'm always very satisfied with however, I would never stay in and eat . The staff serves me well yet speaks any language but English when addressing somebody other than me. I understand it is easier to speak in your own language as someone who speaks five yet in service once to speak the language of the customer base when working.“

“I just went in to this Subway for a quick dinner as I’m too burnt out to cook. I wish I got the employees name because she deserves a raise! When I walked in, I could hear she was already in a wholesomely friendly conversation with the customer ahead of her, discussing and bonding over their culture and speaking Punjabi.
When it was my turn to order, I do not say this lightly, she made me the BeST subway sandwich I’ve ever had.
I try not to be too demanding but she clued in to every word I spoke in regards to veggie amounts, sauce amount (I like lots of veggies, little sauce) and she nailed it, as if she’s been taking my Subway order forever.

She was also smart with business and tried to upsell me, but knew to smile and understand because I don’t need a drink (I have Gatorade at home).

Instead, I ordered one cookie along my sub. When she packaged my cookie, another crumbled and she put in the extra cookie pieces stating “I’d rather not waste it” (again with a smile)- I will always appreciate an employee not wanting to waste food in this economy and being generous instead of unnecessarily wasteful.

Based on the customer service, friendliness and attentiveness of staff I experienced.. I don’t go in person to subway often, but if I do it will be here.

“I've heard several times about how good the Seoul Chicken is so I decided to try it today and it was superb! Not too sweet and not too spicy and the texture was terrific. I brought it back to my office and let a co-worker try it and she immediately changed her lunch plans and headed to Scotia Square to get some herself.“

“I’m a little late to post this ! It’s always pleasant experience going there Marin one of the manager super friendly! She’s always smiling and lovely. But I would love to bring a little concern to GM’s attention that there are few people who should learn not to start making faces right away at customer’s face if they ask their food made fresh ! This happened with me and when i saw it they started talking to each other and i could understand each and everything, literally looking at me ! I felt so awkward and bad that I have been in food chain and management 6 years and never treated customer like that. I mean what’s the big deal if someone wants to enjoy their first meal of the day fresh and peacefully ! But Marin was super sweet and I did bring this thing to her attention that why they are talking looking at me and why it seems to be a big problem asking for everything made to be fresh like I’m ready to wait and i was very polite she said she can’t understand there language and I told her Well I can because I speak and can understand that language. And it shouldn’t be like this !
I hope this comes to GM’s attention and this should be avoided, because it’s very convenient location and shouldn’t loose customers because of their employees mistakes!! And shouldn’t be getting upset if someone wants fresh food and talking with you very politely .“

“We had a small issue with an employee there that was quickly resolved by upper management and the employee involved. We are so impressed with their response to the situation, you truly don’t see this type of corrective and respectful action being taken by all involved. The food was also great.“

“If you're heading out from Dartmouth on a road trip, do you really want to be making breakfast. No. Go to a&w and grab a cheese n egger combo with hash brown and OJ and get as an extra cheese n egger and hit the road. They will ask you a skill testing question though. Bun or English muffin. The correct answer is English muffin. Don't trust anyone who willingly chooses bun.

Vegetarian options: Cheese n egger, pancakes if you're sitting down. After breakfast they got the beyond burger.

Kid-friendliness: Usually the children here are well behaved and seemed friendly enough.“

“Today we visited a KFC restaurant with our family, approximately between 8 and 9 PM. While my husband stepped out with our youngest child, I stayed with our two other kids. Within seconds, I slipped and fell on the wet tiled floor. A staff member was mopping the floor with an extremely wet mop, casting annoyed looks in our direction. She did not place any visible yellow warning signs nearby — one was placed in the restroom, and another I only noticed far away near the exit, nowhere near where we had been walking. My son ended up bringing a sign from the restroom and placing it at the slippery spot himself.

As a result of the fall, I suffered a groin strain and pain in my calf muscle. It has now been two hours since we got home, and I still feel discomfort. The floors were wet and slippery with visible water, and we warned other guests to be careful as we were leaving.

This was a dangerous situation caused by the staff’s negligence, and it could have led to a more serious injury. The incident should be visible on your security cameras. Please take this seriously — wet floors without proper signage pose a real risk to customers.“
