“It was a wonderful meal and Emily’s service was great. We arrived on the tail end of a busy evening but it didn’t impact us at all. We appreciated being seated on the patio( and the blankets when it cooled down). The mussels, halibut, salmon and birthday zucatto were exceptional. Thanks!“

“Every time I go, I never leave disappointed. The staff is friendly & knowledgeable, the food is amazing & the venue is always beautiful this time of year! Definitely recommend making a reservation in advance to shorten your wait time as it's a very popular place especially on Friday & Saturday nights although if you don't, trust me, it's worth the wait Every.Single.Time!!!“

“Very good restaurant experience.
Server masterfully struck the balance between checking in on us and letting us enjoy our food very well, and was supremely friendly.
I liked the QR code payment system they put in place. Very good for people with social anxieties.
Seating and table space per person was ample and they had a decent variety of chairs, booths, and hybrid seating options.
Large portions, and priced about the same as other places around the area for breakfast food.
Would highly recommend someone looking for a good breakfast!“

“I went there with a friend and ordered takeout. It was my first time there and I hate ordering off menus. There was a happy looking fellow in a ball hat and I asked that he choose what I had for lunch. Got back to the office and it was the most delicious meal I've had in a long time. Awesome props to this guy, thank you!!!“

“Went at lunchtime on a Friday to grab some food, we got in at 12:07, ordered immediately and food was served to us by 12:11. We ate, paid our bill and we were done and out by 12:25.
Fast, kind and efficient service.
What else can you ask for?

“after living in halifax for over 4 years i must say the most disappointing customer service and most hurtful incident of RACIAL profiling I ever had to deal with has been at the Burnside freshii..... after walking in between meetings while talking to my business partner on the phone, I was refused service by the MANAGER . who told me he will not serve me.... when asked why he refused to serve me he told me I was disrespecting him by coming to his cashier register on my phone...... of course this manager them walked around from his counter walked right into my face to intimidate me..... when i proceeded to try to make my order after been hungry running back and forth to meetings all day he proceeded to call the police... thanks to freshii Burnside I am once again reminded that my appearance is either threatening or offensive.... either way it was made clear that my kind is not welcome.....!!!“

He is a owner or chef but literally he is a garbage person in this Restaurant. He taught he is big qualified chef. Literally for me he is a Snake in that Restaurant. “We have gone twice now. Had pizza, poutine, chicken burgers. We loved the food each time! Didn’t eat in, but waited for our food in the restaurant. We did not pay attention to the cleanliness. The first time we went, there was a team of three guys working, it was very busy. They multi tasked great together-had a good vibe- were really friendly! Would have been a 5 for service but the second time it was just one guy, and he was busyish; however friendliness shouldn’t affect that. He wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t friendly either. lolEither way! We will continue to order from here ?“

“We were there two nights in a row. Two different servers. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share amongst us. The 1st pm the food seemed better. The 2nd pm the server didn't ask if we would like meat or chicken to our nachos. But we all agreed that they were the best nachos (both pm) even the ones without chicken that any of us have had in HRM.“

“Came here twice recently and both visits were nice!
Service was good, staff were friendly and food was tasty. The restaurant is a bit on the darker side for lighting, but still a nice vibe.
I’ve had the Lasagna and the Alfredo Mare Mare. Both were good, but the Alfredo was my favourite.
I would visit here again.“
