“Great service today- we had a large party of about 35 (with a reservation of 26), it was no big deal they just whipped up a couple of extra tables. We had 2 servers plus a trainee. I just wanted to say that the service was amazing; the staff were very accommodating, and the food was fresh. My daughter, who has a sesame allergy, was able to eat sushi; they cleaned the oil for her and cooked her food first. My daughter, who is 1, was treated like royalty and given a small spoon and some crushed ice with a bowl of fruit. This visit was so enjoyable. The waiter was hands-down one of the best I have ever come across while dining with my kids. She was patient, kind, and very engaging. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate this visit 100.“

I liked the QR code payment system they put in place. Very good for people with social anxieties.

Seating and table space per person was ample and they had a decent variety of chairs, booths, and hybrid seating options.

Large portions, and priced about the same as other places around the area for breakfast food.

“after living in halifax for over 4 years i must say the most disappointing customer service and most hurtful incident of RACIAL profiling I ever had to deal with has been at the Burnside freshii..... after walking in between meetings while talking to my business partner on the phone, I was refused service by the MANAGER . who told me he will not serve me.... when asked why he refused to serve me he told me I was disrespecting him by coming to his cashier register on my phone...... of course this manager them walked around from his counter walked right into my face to intimidate me..... when i proceeded to try to make my order after been hungry running back and forth to meetings all day he proceeded to call the police... thanks to freshii Burnside I am once again reminded that my appearance is either threatening or offensive.... either way it was made clear that my kind is not welcome.....!!!“

The 2nd pm the server didn't ask if we would like meat or chicken to our nachos. But we all agreed that they were the best nachos (both pm) even the ones without chicken that any of us have had in HRM.“

“We have gone twice now. Had pizza, poutine, chicken burgers. We loved the food each time! Didn’t eat in, but waited for our food in the restaurant. We did not pay attention to the cleanliness. The first time we went, there was a team of three guys working, it was very busy. They multi tasked great together-had a good vibe- were really friendly! Would have been a 5 for service but the second time it was just one guy, and he was busyish; however friendliness shouldn’t affect that. He wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t friendly either. lolEither way! “Decided to try La Cucina tonight. Seated quickly, service was pleasant and quick. Had the meatballs as an appetizer, so good you could sell the tomato sauce alone and I would buy it. My wife had a mushroom ravioli and I had seafood pasta. Both were amazing flavors and completely enjoyed. Highly recomend this place.“
