aFrite Restaurant is a lovely place with a great vibe, offering interesting menu items for everyone. The server provided excellent recommendations, including the delicious donair gnocchi and a warning about the "black rocks" at Peggy's Cove. Customers also enjoyed the server's special mocktail, which had a tropical/peachy taste, and the Schezwan Chicken Katsu appetizer, which was phenomenal and the star of the night. The donair gnocchi was very flavorful, with a sauce that wasn't too sweet, and the gnocchi was soft and fresh. The burger was also worth the price, with the caramelized onions and mayo pairing well. The rich dark chocolate brownie with raspberries was a satisfying dessert. Overall, the food, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant were all praised, earning it a 10/10 rating from the reviewers, who plan to return for the Chicken Katsu.
