First of all as a mother of two kids I am very displeased to hear this, I did not want to write this review without formally checking with this employee I have reached out to him and had a brief conversation, what he presented to me was very discomforting, the text message between him and the employer said “(Employees name) the novas scotias government now allows you to work if you are feeling fine but you have to wear a mask, you probably caught it from another employee she has it too but she is still working with mask and gloves”. Like I said this is very discomforting, service was great but…..!

I don't think the comments from Ethan kim is controversial at all, I believe he just gave us a transparent view point of what it’s like behind the scenes. My kids eat there occasionally and I honestly would not want someone with covid to be making food for my child, the service is great though and the atmosphere to but I really would reconsider what I’m paying for.

The atmosphere would be awesome if it wasn't for all the bird poop. Fun, energetic area even post high season. And of course the tail was amazing!

Very poorly received, the waitress was super nervous, she made a mistake in the order and she spoke badly to us when we asked for it.

I go with the classic. Delicious and soft !
It wasn't that fresh and not even warm.
Will try it again and ask for fresh one !

Beavertails
Halifax waterfront

Putting under food trucks even though it's the waterfront location. The lady who ordered ahead of us got the regular beavertail that comes with lemon, i thought it was interesting, but had my eye on the one with pistachio..

Back story - last time I got a beavertail on a hot day I was full of chocolate and so sticky. It was so messy. Luckily there was a bathroom nearby here.

When I went to order, they didn't have the Pistachio...I knew I didn't want chocolate!!

I went with the Killaloe Sunrise (cinnamon and sugar with lemon) I was surprised that I enjoyed it with the lemon squeezed on. It cut own on the sugary taste. Would definitely recommend trying that one, but be aware, you still get sticky!!

Wow wow wow. The classic beaver tails are so tasty but these beaver bites go hard. We got two different flavors. It was a huge snack even for two people. We loved every bite.

Delicious as always! We got the box of beaver bites for $15. A great portion of them and they were hot and fresh. There was a little wait to get them but that is to be expected with the location! If you have your furry friend with you, the lady at the cash has treats!

A delicacy, a bomb of calories and sugars!
A must try if you are in the area!
Too bad there's always a long queue, so you have to wait a bit to be served.

I had to try this novelty while in Halifax.  I ordered The Classic Beaver Tail, cinnamon with sugar.  It was fresh and tasty and not overly sweetened.  It's a decent sized portion, and it is reasonably priced for its size, as well.  It was a busy day, but staff were friendly, and service was still fast enough. It's similar to the Elephant Ear that you can buy at fairs.

Painfully long wait for a sloppy tail half the size of the ones in Ottawa...tossed in my direction by surly looking cook.

Had the Avalanche, skor cheesecake beaver tail as my first ever. Light crunchy dough with a good sweet topping, somehow not too sweet nicely. Despite the summer busy times the wait is not too long.
