Had an awesome time at Bitter End! The place has a great vibe, super friendly staff, and awesome drinks. Perfect spot to hang out with friends or chill after work. Highly recommend checking it out!

Came here for happy hour and was disappointed they didn’t have the stuff to make the paper plane we wanted. We got the espresso martini and the chocolate orange - both were okay. The espresso martini is far too sweet and tastes a little like it’s from a can, wouldn’t order it again. The chocolate orange was sweet but the flavour was spot on. Would maybe come back to try the original and see if they can actually make the paper plane but the atmosphere isn’t totally for us and the menu isn’t anything special.

Used to love this place. Not sure what happened in the last 7 months but the martini menu went from about 30 to 14 different martinis. My favorite "Jameson Mist" was taken off the menu.Came back tonight to get that cocktail and was upset to find it was off the menu.Sat for 5 minutes figuring I would at least ask if they could still make it. Noone even acknowledged us being there, and the bartender was 2 feet from us the whole time.There was a 5 dollar cover which I hadn't had to pay in my previous visits, but that combined with the reduced menu and lack of service we just left, and went to the loose cannon, which sadly had also went really downhill.Definitely some issues going on with both of these bars and it's no surprise that they are "sister bars" and managed by the same people.Used to be one of my favorite places (arguably THE place to get martinis in halifax) so it's really disappointing to see it slide downhill like this.
